I have cat proofed my own home due to my cat being a master at opening cabinets he is not allowed to be in. When pet sitting I go with the flow of the pet as I want them to feel as if they run the show to avoid causing unnecessary stress on the both of us.

A typical day
I plan to keep them happy, active, and comfortable. I’ll play games like fetch or tug-of-war, go on walks if they enjoy being outside, and spend time giving them attention and affection. For calmer pets, I’d sit with them, pet them, or talk softly so they feel relaxed and safe.

I have pet sat for family members in the past (many of which have very anxious pets) and was able to care for them and attend to their needs. I also have grown up with cats, reptiles, birds and other aquatic animals so I feel as though I have quite a bit of experience with different types of animals
