I don't have any breed preferences, I love them all :) I would like to know if they get anxious with new people and how to help them to feel more comfortable with me, which toys and treats are their favorites and anything I can do to make them feel better while you are away! And of course, any allergies, medical needs, favorite treats, etc :)
A typical day
I'll walk your fur baby wherever you are comfortable with me taking him or her! Please let me know if you prefer I take your "usual route" or if you're ok with us blazing new trails and exploring a little! At home, we will play catch, tug of war, hide and seek, and anything else your pup likes to do!

Pet care experience
From a very young age, my family had all kinds of animals. I have experience with many breeds of dogs, including Rottweilers, pit bulls, hunting dogs, and rescues, along with horses, pigs, a variety of birds, and hampsters, chinchillas, and a guinnea pig! I was a large animal vet tech (horses, cattle, goats and farm dogs!) before becoming a nurse, and I also grew up with a dog who had diabetes, and have helped several friends treat their puppies at home for Parvo. Also being a nurse, I'm very comfortable with giving injections, wound care, and coaxing your fur baby to take meds :) I work full time, but that still gives me 4 days off a week. I love to be outside and spend my time with animals, walking dogs is a great way to do both! I can be pretty flexible and early morning/late night visits to check on your critters aren't an issue at all for me. Hope to hear from you soon!

Jessica did a great job taking care of our dog for 3 hours that is still transitioning to our home. Her knowledge of dogs made for a smooth visit with new dog.
Jessica was awesome! She clearly has a genuine love of animals and nature. We had a unique situation where we were vacationing in the area. Jessica was flexible to meet our unique needs on short notice and even provided local recommendations for things to do. She was super attentive to our pets and is a lovely person. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!
