I have worked remotely for 20+ years and take meetings between 9-5 Monday-Friday. We have plenty of time for morning walks and playtime after dinner and flexibility to go outside as needed. Weekends are for the dogs around here.

We live on 5+ acres. While not fenced - we have 100 foot trolly run right out front of my office window and usually just go out with the pups to throw snow/tennis balls. We use training leads for safety. We can also crate your pup as requested if we are trying to maintain a schedule or habits. Our resident doggo was kenneled at night until he was 1 year or so. Couches and chairs are fair game for lounging around here unless you advise otherwise. We are used to 80 lb lap dogs.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or habits ahead of time. While our family is partial to golden retrievers - we have experience with several larger breed dogs (shepherds, huskies, labs, setters, spaniels).
A typical day
We have 5 acres and will play ball on lead, go for walks, help reinforce any training, brain games/puzzles and for quiet time during the day/meetings I normally bust out a pupsicle. We also do nosework (search) training with our resident dog to keep his brain busy!

Raised in a dog & cat loving home - I’ve cared for my own animals since I was 18. Home is where your dog is. We have a safe loving environment to care for your dog(s) when you need to be away. Experienced from puppies to seniors. I’m comfortable with administering meds and special needs for seniors (chemo, ramps, slings) - whatever it takes to make them comfortable. Our recently departed Senior tri-paw Tanner required extensive care with 4 kinds of cancer - he and Senior pups will always hold a special place in my heart. I also foster for our local rescue from time to time.

Jessica was absolutely perfect for our GSP “Rook” We were gone a week and had never left him with anyone. We got regular updates and pictures. It really put me at ease. She is knowledgeable on dogs and seems to really love them. We had a pre stay visit and I could clearly see and feel that she quite loves dogs and cares for them! Thank you so much Jessica ❤️

Jessica has the biggest heart when it comes to animals! She has rescued and has been fostering lately, finding there for ever home... Her home is comfortable with a big yard!
