I know the essentials of dog care. I’ve lived in a home with a dog for a little over 12 years as an adult. I had the privilege of having my first pup Cooper, raising and training him. From this experience I learned some essential on senior dog care. He requires specialist veterinary care. I have also learned a lot from a family member who works in animal medicine I’ve gone through the incredibly cute puppy phase of training both of my pups. I use positive reinforcement always. Both my dogs thrived with this training and turned out well mannered but still have fun. With any dog I’ve had or looked after, I know exercise is essential. Of course the amount is breed dependant. The two pups I’ve had are high energy breeds, a husky shepherd mix and now a black Labrador. The saying indeed does ring true “a tired dog is a happy dog”
