Pet care experience

Drop-Ins & Walks · Same-Day OK

I'm a full-time professional pet sitter focused on drop-in visits and neighborhood walks. Twenty years in, I've worked with puppies through seniors, high-energy dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs on complicated medication schedules. Most of what I do is simple and I do it the same way every time: your dog gets out, gets exercise appropriate to their age and energy, gets fed on schedule, and gets real attention rather than a rushed fifteen minutes. If they're reactive, shy, or take a while to warm up to strangers, tell me — I'd rather move slowly on the first visit than push a dog who isn't ready. I answer messages within minutes and send photo updates through Rover Cards after every single visit. You'll never wonder whether I showed up.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in their own homes, where they're most comfortable. On the first visit I confirm the essentials in writing: entry and lockup, leash and harness setup, where the leash lives, any door or gate a dog can slip through, food storage and portions, and your vet's information. I lock up behind me every time, keep dogs leashed unless we're in a securely fenced space you've approved, and text you immediately if anything seems off — a limp, a skipped meal, an unusual mess. I'd rather send a message you didn't need than stay quiet about something that mattered.

Jessica is the best. I reached out to Rover on short notice as we were arriving in Virgin, Utah for a few days. She responded right away, came and met us and Georgia. She was perfect. When we needed extra time on our days she was so accommodating. Thank you Jessica for everything! You are the best!

Jessica has cat sat for me 4 times now! She sends pictures each day, follows her routine , is kind and conscientious about caring for my cat. She keeps the house tidy like I left it too. She’s my first pick when I’m going on trip.

Jessica watched our cat and our house in August 2025. She is 100% trustworthy and the cat loves her, as do all animals I've ever seen her with. She goes above and beyond to insure a great experience for the pets and the homeowners. Do not hesitate to hire her, you'll be glad you did!

Pet care is my full-time work, not something I fit around another job. That means I can cover midday walks while you're at the office, twice-daily visits while you're traveling, and same-day requests when something comes up. My calendar is updated daily. If you see availability, it's real.

The practical stuff: feeding amounts and times, medication and how your pet actually takes it, allergies or diet restrictions, your vet's name and number, and where the leash, food, and cleaning supplies live. The stuff people forget to mention but I always want to know: what scares them, what they do when nervous, whether they pull or bolt for doors, how they are with other dogs and strangers on a walk, and what makes them happiest. If your dog has a spot on the couch, a specific toy, or a phrase they respond to, tell me — that's usually what makes a visit feel normal instead of strange. No such thing as too much detail. I'd rather over-prepare.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
