I am currently a College Student at Diablo Valley College, and I work as a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker when I am not attending in person lectures or studying for my classes. I usually work with my clients weekly or every month based on how often they prefer me to walk their dogs or take care of their pet(s) while they are out of town for work or on vacation. During the summer, if I am not registered to take any classes during the summer break, being a pet sitter and dog walker becomes my full-time job! I am available for Dog Walking most of the week except for Sundays.

The first thing I usually do when talking to a new potential client is to learn a little bit about their pet(s) and where they live. I.E., An Apartment, House, or Condominium? I only stay at the client's house because I have two large dogs, a Rottweiler, and a German Shepherd, and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to my client's animals while they are away and enjoying their vacation! So, for safety purposes, I only offer to stay at the client's house or do daily check-ins! Thank you, Jessica Kelling

Pet care experience
I became a pet sitter back in 2019 when I started to take care of my neighbor's cat, and some of my close friends hired me to stay at their house and do a little house sitter while taking care of their pets. Then, in 2020, I had to put my business on hold because of the COVID-19 Pandemic! But once the vaccines came out and the hospitals were providing appointments to go get vaccinated, I noticed business started picking up again in late 2021, around mid-July. Since then, I created my pet-sitting prices on how much I should charge my clients based on which service I would be completing at their house and how many pets my clients owned. I bring my own unique, creative, loving, kind, and personable approach when meeting with my clients and telling them about how long I have owned my pets for the last 18 years. Jessica is a very responsive and reliable pet sitter. She is very proactive with her clients and able to meet their needs. She has worked with my young puppy and seems comfortable with all that a young dog requires. She offers all levels of service from drop ins and overnights which is great for consistency for our dog.
