Hi! We’re Jessica & Jake — long-time dog lovers living in beautiful Tahoe with our sweet Shepherd-Husky, Jack. With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, we're excited to offer a calm, active, and loving home-away-from-home for your pup. We both work from home with flexible schedules, which means your dog will get consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout their stay. Living in Tahoe means your dog won’t just be lounging — unless that’s what they love to do! We’re surrounded by miles of scenic trails, so daily walks and nature adventures are a regular part of the routine. Whether it's hiking in the woods, visiting the beach, or playing fetch in our fenced-in backyard, we make sure every dog gets exercise, fresh air, and fun. Our home is dog-friendly from top to bottom — dogs are welcome on all furniture, in every room, and part of the family while they’re here. We keep a peaceful, safe environment where your dog can relax, explore, and feel right at home. Here’s what you can expect during your dog’s stay: 🌲 Daily trail walks and outdoor play 🏡 A secure backyard for off-leash time 🐶 3–5 outings a day, tailored to your dog’s energy level 💤 A cozy home environment with plenty of snuggles 💊 Medication administration, if needed 📸 Regular updates and photos so you never feel far away Jack, our resident fetch-obsessed pup, loves having playmates and is gentle and social with other dogs. Whether your dog prefers quiet companionship or energetic play, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog, and we don’t take that trust lightly. Our goal is to give you peace of mind — and give your dog a happy, safe, and fun experience while you're away.

Jessica watched my golden doodle Moko over a long weekend and delivered thoughtful, communicative, and pro-active care throughout our time away! Moko connected with her warm and friendly personality immediately, which was an added bonus. We received daily photos and updates which put us at ease, enabling us to be fully present and enjoy our trip. Moko got to go on walks and play with her dog Jack all weekend so by the time we picked him up, he was absolutely exhausted from having so much fun. I highly recommend Jessica, she is clearly an experienced dog owner and sitter who we felt we could trust 100% with our fur baby.

My husband and I both work from home, so your dog will have constant companionship and care throughout the day. Whether your pup needs an early morning walk, active midday playtime, or a cozy evening wind-down, we’re here to meet their needs. With our flexible schedules and love for the outdoors, we make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.

We offer a safe, calm, and loving environment with constant companionship since both my husband and I work from home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture, have full access to indoor spaces, and can enjoy our fully fenced backyard for playtime, sunbathing, and potty breaks. We keep a consistent routine that includes daily trail walks (we're lucky to live near miles of them here in Tahoe), multiple outdoor breaks, and plenty of play and rest time. We always tailor care to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs — whether they’re high-energy and love to be active, or prefer a quieter environment with cuddles and downtime. We closely follow any instructions provided regarding diet, medications, or special routines to help your pup feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. We also send regular updates and photos so you can stay connected and at ease.

A typical day
We love keeping dogs active, happy, and engaged! Since we live in Tahoe, we take full advantage of the beautiful outdoors with daily trail walks, hikes, and plenty of fresh air. For dogs that love to run and play, we spend time in our fully fenced backyard playing fetch or just letting them explore and sunbathe. For pups who prefer a slower pace, we’re happy to take relaxed neighborhood strolls and spend quality time snuggling indoors. We always tailor activities to each dog’s energy level, personality, and preferences — whether that means high-energy play or lots of calm companionship.
