Availability

I'm a stay-at-home mom to a school-aged child, which gives me a consistent window of availability during the weekdays when my child is in school. I’m generally available for pet care between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. I am happy to provide weekly care, however, I am only available three days a week during my child's school track out schedule. Feel free to reach out—I’m happy to work with you to find a time and schedule that fits!

In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely and take time to get to know each pet’s personality and preferences. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away.

Information Jessica H. would like to know about your pet

It’s helpful to know as much as possible about your pet’s personality and routine so I can give them the best care. Please let me know about any quirks, anxieties, health conditions, allergies, or things they love or dislike—like if they’re nervous around other dogs, afraid of storms, or have a favorite toy or treat. I’d also love to know their potty schedule, feeding routine, and what commands they know. It is important to know if your pet is uncomfortable around children, as my child may be taging along on a visit if he is out on a school break. The more I know, the more comfortable and happier I can help your pet feel!

A typical day

Each visit with your pet will be filled with attentive care, play, and lots of love! We’ll start with a walk or potty break, followed by playtime to get out some energy—whether that's fetch, tug-of-war, or just exploring nature. I believe mental and sensory enrichment is important as well, so I am happy to provide that with activities like snuffle mats or frozen treats. I always tailor activities to each pet’s energy level, personality, and routine to help them feel safe and happy while you’re away.

Loving pet care, you can count on!

Pet care experience

Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of loving and caring for pets through every stage of life—from the playful energy of puppies to the tender needs of seniors. I’ve cared for dogs with a variety of needs and am comfortable giving medications, following special routines, and tuning in to each pet’s unique personality. I find joy in helping animals feel safe, happy, and loved— through belly rubs, slow walks, or just quiet companionship. Whether your pet needs energetic playtime or a peaceful place to relax, I’m here to provide loving, dependable care every step of the way.

I can't recommend Jessica enough! From the beginning, she showed genuine care and professionalism by asking all the right questions to really understand my dog's needs, routine, and personality. It gave me a lot of peace of mind. My dog absolutely loves her and gets so excited every time she comes over. It's clear she truly cares about the animals she works with. Reliable and great with communication—she’s the best!

Jessica did an awesome job caring for our dog Scooby! She was great with him, and it put me at ease knowing that he was being well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will have her watch Scooby again in the future.
