Safety and care are the most important. Patience is always needed, and knowing how to read an animal's body language are tools I will always use.

Pet care experience

I am currently in school to be a Veterinary Technician and have worked with Dogs and Cats in this field for about 4 years. I have experience with walking strong dogs, medications, vaccines, nail trims, and animal behavior. My dream has always been to work with animals, and I am so excited to be able to continue that dream and meet your babies! The animal's safety, care, and wellbeing are most important to me. I will provide as many text and photo updates as you require.

Jessica was hours late on the first day. I had booked this sitter because initially my dog wasn’t feeling well and I wanted someone to be with her while I was in Ashland for a workshop. She said she had an issue with her alarm which I understand can happen. It was a stressful experience for me to manage and for my puppy being left alone in the hotel where we had just arrived the night before. I appreciate that she still offered to come and recognized it was necessary to discount the first day’s booking. In terms of what went well, she did provide updates on bowel movements, activity, and photos/video. I do think she cared for my dog, however in addition to being late there were other details that didn’t sit well with me. Overall, I think Jessica is well intentioned but I was uncomfortable with the situation.
