I’m currently a full-time technician/customer service representative at Riverchase Animal Hospital, but I am able to drop-in before 7am, often during my hour lunch break, and after 5pm during the week (Thursdays after 3pm). Most weekends I’m available any time to hang out with your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I have years of experience and training to ensure your pets safety and I always try to engage with them as much as possible. For the cuddly ones, I make sure to spend plenty of time curled up with them giving lots of pets. I make sure to have all the instructions and treat your pet as my own and respect your house in the case of drop ins/house sitting. I provide plenty of updates and pictures throughout the duration of my time with your pet and since I work at a vet, I am trained and able to act accordingly in emerge situations.
Information Jessica H. would like to know about your pet
I do require that all dogs be trained to be handled by leash/collar without any aggression and to be updated on vaccines (minimum of Rabies and Distemper/Parvo and Lepto). I would like to know any special conditions, previous problems (if any), or behavioral issues or quirks. Really anything that is critical to the dog’s health and safety as well as my own. The more I know about your furry friend(s), the better! Any dog showing signs of sickness, fleas, or that is not up to date on vaccines poses a safety concern to itself, other animals, and myself, and therefore cannot be offered service.
A typical day
There are plenty of wonderful places to go on walks such as the canals down the street or any of the parks! I’d love to play fetch, tug of war, and give your furry friends lots of love and pets.

Pet care experience
*I have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19* *All breeds welcome😊* I was a Zoology/Pre-vet student and have been taking care of animals my entire life. I have professionally worked as a kennel technician, then as a veterinary technician in addition to vet receptionist at Riverchase Animal Hospital in Coppell, TX so I am comfortable and capable of administering medications, fluids, etc. I have worked with horses at OSU’s equestrian barn and cared for many exotics so there isn’t much I haven’t worked with or experienced! I’m comfortable with all shapes and sizes, calm or hyper pets and have plenty of experience with strong and aggressive dogs and cats. Animals are my passion and I’d love to meet your furry companion. I work with all breeds as I have the necessary training and means to handle them :)
Reviews

Treats my babies like her own. I always get great pictures and usually hilarious updates on what my cats are up to while I am on vacation. I know they are in the best hands while I am away.

Legitimately went above the call of duty with my 2 spoiled and high maintenance cats. They absolutely adore their time with Jessica and I can jet set off on vacation knowing my fur brats will be safe and well cared for (and have lots of enrichment and entertainment) until I am back. I also find out something new they enjoy that I had never heard of each time she watches them. The pictures and visit narrative keep me going.

My cats do not just tolerate her as a sitter, they adore her! They have actually fought over who got cuddles. It is so great to know they are in capable hands while I am away and also that they are happy as well.

My cats absolutely love and trust Jessica. I know they will get fed, playtime, affection and care while I am away from home. I get wonderful pictures and videos of them which helps deal with missing them and great communication about anything going on with them. 10/10
