Availability
I work for the schools and my family doesn’t take a lot of vacations, so I’m often available on school breaks and holidays. Over the summer, especially, I have lots of time for pet care.

Safety, trust & environment
I am an experienced cat fosterer, and I’m familiar with many types of feedings, medicines, sensitivities, and treatment regimes. I’m no princess: I’m okay to scoop poop, clean icky fur, touch mess, and clean up a soiling accident. I’m very tenacious with kitties who “go to ground” when strangers arrive. I’m a quick blocker if they try to scoot out a door, and I’m not afraid to be clawed. I love even the “spicy” kitties!
Information Jessica G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know where and how much your pet wants to be touched. They all have their preferences, and unique body language. If your pet is eager to escape, please also give me a heads up!
A typical day
I will spend whatever quality time with your pet that they accept and enjoy! Lots of fast paced play is fine, but so are gentle pets. If they need a lap, I’m down for that too!

Cat care experience
I’ve owned and cared for cats as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, we always took in and neutered strays of all ages. I’ve tended to senior kitties who can’t get clean or chew their food without help- they need the most tenderness and patience. I fostered cats in Colorado before I had children, and that’s how I found my first raised from a bottle kitten, Loki, the Best Cat Ever. Now, I have an otherwise healthy boy who gets a pill orally every two days for an upset tummy- for as long as he lives- but he’s worth it. Since my 30’s I’ve always had more than one cat, always adopted, always at least one mature kitty with a little bit of trauma history, but don’t we all have our baggage? I love them all.
Reviews

Jessica took care of my very particular kitty so very patiently. I really appreciate the peace of mind, being able to travel and know that she is well taken care of. Thank you, Jessica!😸
Very friendly and reliable.

Jessica did a wonderful job with our three kitties! She did everything as expected and then some. She was easy to communicate with and would send us daily photos of them eating, playing, or rolling around. I plan on reaching out to Jessica in the future when we need someone to look after our kitties again.
Take it from me; Jessica will take great care of your cats! Not only is she one of the most capable, responsible, and *clean* people I have ever known - she has always kept at least one cat over the years. Old cat? Grumpy cat? Kitten? There is no cat problem that she could not handle, she's seen it all. Jessica will be sensitive to you and your cats' needs and she will communicate effectively to you throughout the process. Do yourself a favor and hire Jessica to watch over your cat. Just one time and you will be saying to yourself; "I don't want anyone else taking care of my cat/s."
