Pet care experience
Treating every pet like family
Caring for animals has always been an important part of my life. I volunteer with the Hoke County Animal Shelter, where I've had the opportunity to care for dogs of all ages and personalities. I have also fostered dogs, helping them adjust to new environments and prepare for their forever homes. At home, I have a family of five with three children and two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is simply part of my everyday life. Through volunteering and fostering, I've gained valuable experience caring for dogs in different stages of life and from a variety of backgrounds. I've learned the importance of providing a structured routine, plenty of exercise, and a calm, caring environment where they can feel comfortable while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I strive to provide dependable care, regular updates, and plenty of affection so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. Living near Fort Bragg, I proudly welcome military families and understand that military schedules can change quickly. Whether you're traveling, training, deploying, or preparing for a PCS move, I'm happy to provide reliable, loving care for your pet whenever you need it.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am always home, so pets receive plenty of attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and lots of affection. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether that's playing outside, going for a walk, or relaxing together on the couch for some cuddles. I understand how important it is to maintain a pet's normal routine, and I'll do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you're away.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every pet in my care. At my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced backyard for supervised play and exercise, as well as a separate fenced area that's perfect for smaller dogs. Inside, pets are treated like part of the family and have plenty of space to relax.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day starts with a potty break first thing in the morning, followed by supervised playtime in our fenced yard before breakfast. Around midday, dogs go outside again for another potty break, playtime, and a walk if the weather permits, followed by lunch if that's part of their normal routine. Throughout the afternoon and evening, they'll enjoy regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and an evening meal if requested. My goal is to keep your dog on a schedule that's as close to home as possible while making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection.
