I began working with dogs to better understand their behavior and learn from past experiences. My background includes leading off-leash packs, completing the DogTec walker course, and working alongside positive reinforcement-based trainers. I specialize in (R+) methods to support dogs with reactivity or shyness, helping them build trust and confidence. Known for being patient, reliable, and compassionate, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Sharing time, care, and even a few photo poses with furry companions brings me joy and fulfillment.

This was our second time booking with Jessica for our 10 year old pup, Smokey, and once again, she exceeded every expectation. What truly sets her apart is her communication. She sends multiple updates every single day, always with lots of wonderful photos, so we never had to wonder how he was doing. It was clear from every update that he was happy, well cared for, and genuinely enjoying himself. She took him on long walks and fun adventures, giving him plenty of exercise and attention, and treated him like one of her own. On top of that, we came home to a house that was impeccably cared for. We are already looking forward to the next time that Smokey can spend some time with Jessica!
So fortunate to have Jessica taking care of our bulldog while we were away. She went above and beyond and kept us updated throughout her stay.

We feel so incredibly grateful to have found Jessica for our Alaskan malamute/Siberian husky, Smokey. Jessica provided, by far, the most amazing sit experience we have ever had. She took amazing care of our pup and provided frequent & consistent updates throughout our one week sit. We felt completely at ease while away and our pup also seemed perfectly comfortable with Jessica (which can be a difficult thing to achieve at times with his aloof/stubborn nature). We are already looking forward to the next time Jessica can take care of Smokey (& he is, too!).
Jess was very responsive, conscientious, and amazing with the pets! They got walks and play time and we got lots of pictures. Would work with her again anytime!

I strive to bring clients and furry family members a pawsitive experience while working independently. I would love for you to have a peace of mind while you are away. Overall, I make sure I provide a successful and comfortable experience for you and your companion. I follow through with clients protocols in their home. I am mindful of your home being your sanctuary, so I do my best to leave your home as you left it or better.
A typical day
Dog enrichment activities are a must! I like to keep your companion mentally stimulated, whether it is outdoor or indoor play. Activities can consist of basic obedience training, playing 'find it', recall practice, puzzle toys, or a game of tug of war. While dog walking - I enjoy giving them praises, affection, high value treats, and belly rubs! I personally do not like trying to correct a certain behavior or mistake by telling them 'no.' I prefer to use 'oops.' Safety comes first, so walks are on foot, on leash, and in your neighborhood.
