I don't work currently so I am home full time, and I live with my mum, who will also help out if necessary (ie. if a dog cannot be left alone at any time, there are two of us so we will take care and make sure they are not left alone at any time.) I have time every day to exercise the dog in the backyard or take for short walks. We have a fairly big backyard and it is all fully fenced in. We are also very close to a dog park in West Brant (Dogford Park) and can take them there for a good run with their friends if that is what you or they want.

We will need to know some basic information, like whether they are crate trained, or if they can be left alone for an hour or two (unlikely to happen), if they like cats or other dogs, any tricks or training cues or equipment you might have used for your dog, any allergies, any medications needed, any health issues that may be important etc etc. Our house is completely dog friendly, they will be allowed on furniture and can sleep with me if they prefer. Dogs will not have access to cat's room and we have gates to block off certain rooms or places, but will move gates around and remove when we get to know your dog and their needs and safety. Our cat is very shy due to some trauma in her youth, so she does not come out of her room for anybody except my mum and that's when there are absolutely nobody around, so with the cat's room blocked off (my mum's room lol), dogs do not have access to the cat so we typically don't worry about our boarders meeting with Saphera and have had alot of boarders who have never experienced cats or doesn't like cats and still come to stay, we always make it work. We also provide our home for those dogs who are in heat or unneutered male. Please be aware that we may be hosting a foster dog or puppies at the time of boarding.

We will need to know behaviour quirks about each dog and health conditions that we will have to keep an eye out for. We also will want to know their routine and schedules so we can follow along as closely as possible. We also want to know if your pup are typically allowed on furniture or table treats (sparingly of course), we sometimes other to spoil our babies (my dad used to alway say 'They are not spoiled if they deserve it!' lol and we all know they deserve to be spoiled), but if no to table treats then we can find other ways to spoil them, so they won't be excluded lol. We will need to know if it is crate trained or can be left home alone for a few hours if something ever comes up (not very often as I keep mentioning lol). We would also like to know anything that you think we should know. Nothing is too much. We also need to know if they will be okay with foster dogs/puppies because there may be a chance that we will be fostering at the time. And last but not least, I would need to know if you give permission for me to use your dog's photographs on my Facebook page or not.
A typical day
We have a big backyard so I will make sure they have lots of playtime in the backyard and stimulate them mentally and physically with our thousands of toys we have lol. Sometimes if I get to know your pup well enough, I can figure out and try different games and enrichments activities. If your pup is a social butterfly, I can sometimes arrange it so that I have another social butterfly pup come and they just play to their heart content, I also have a friend who has a really high energy doggy and loves to play!! So I can always arrange playdates with them. Also if you take your pup up the dog park and has lots of buddies there, I can take them there for them to play with their buddies. I'm totally flexible. We also give lots of cuddles and lots of attention to them, and often they are happy to be here and I've had reports that they would get very excited the next time they come back.

I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, small animals, and fish in my whole life. I am a hug🤯 e animal lover and have been raising animals since I was a little girl. I only have 1 cat in my home right now because I lost 3 dogs in the past 3 years due to age/cancer, one German Shepherd and 2 Golden Retrievers. But that means I can host up to 3 dogs here. I have experience in puppy training, crate training, senior care, bathing and basic grooming, giving meds to pets, feeding raw or kibble and all sizes and types of dogs are welcome!! I also have experience in working at a dog kennel.

Jessica is amazing she and her mom are so warm and kind stepping into their home I too instantly felt at home. My baby was with her for over a week and each day I would get thoughtful updates and pictures (all of which my baby was smiling in) he had all the play time in the world in Jessica's HUGE backyard and he even slept in her bed with her at night. I will be returning to her each and every time now!

My experience with Jessica and her family was absolutely wonderful. They listened carefully to the advice we gave them, sent frequent updates and truly cared for our dog like he was family. We had a wonderful experience and would trust Jessica and her family again in the future.
Apollo had so much fun, and he came home super tired and went right to bed! Jessica and her mom took great care of Apollo and treated him like their own! I will definitely book again 😊
