I have a genuine passion for animals and plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets. I have my own pets, including dogs and cats, which has given me a great understanding of their different personalities, needs, and behaviours. I hold a Level 3 diploma in Animal management with Distinction* grades, as well as qualifications in pet sitting, dog walking and dog grooming. I have also worked in both a cattery and kennels, giving me valuable experience caring for a variety of cats and dogs and understanding their individual routines and requirements. I already work with pets and regularly gain practical experience, while continuing to develop my dog grooming skills. I am caring, reliable, patient, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I take time to understand their usual feeding, walking, toileting, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines, and make sure these are followed as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance while respecting each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. I also make sure their home is left clean and secure, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

I had Jess look after my dog duke while I was away for the weekend, she did a brilliant job at looking after him. She was very attentive, and did all the things i needed to be done. I would highly recommend Jessica to anyone with a pet.

Schedule
I currently work part-time at Pets at home, although i often work more than my contracted hours depending on the needs of my work place. Because of this, i will fit pet sitting, dog walking and drop in visits around my work schedule and my days off. I always want to make sure i can give every pet the time, attention, and care they deserve, so i will be honest and upfront about my availability before accepting a booking. If you are looking for someone who can be with your pet 24/7, I may not always be the right person, depending on my working days and hours. However, I will always do my best to work with you and create a schedule that suits both you and your pet.
