Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, as I treat the animals in my care like family. They come first in everything I do. I start my day by ensuring their needs are met—whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply giving them some love and attention. My schedule revolves around their well-being, so I make sure to accommodate their routines and any special needs they may have. Throughout the day, I check in on them regularly, making sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy. Whether I’m at home or visiting a client’s home, I prioritize their care, often planning my work and personal commitments around their schedules. Their happiness and safety are my top priorities, and I take pride in creating a loving and nurturing environment for them every day.

Information Jessica F. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, it’s essential to gather detailed information to ensure I provide the best care possible. Here’s what I prioritize knowing ahead of time: Pet’s Routine: • Feeding Schedule: Specific times and portion sizes for meals, including any special dietary needs or restrictions. • Exercise Needs: How much exercise the pet typically gets, preferred activities, and favorite walking routes. • Bathroom Schedule: Frequency and preferred times for bathroom breaks, along with any special instructions for indoor pets. Behavioral Traits: • Temperament: Understanding the pet’s personality, including how they interact with strangers, other animals, and children. • Triggers: Any fears or triggers, such as loud noises, unfamiliar environments, or other pets, that might cause anxiety or stress. • Training Commands: Any commands the pet knows or specific behavior expectations the owner has. Health Information: • Medical History: Details on any ongoing health conditions, medications, and how they should be administered. • Allergies: Awareness of any allergies to foods, plants, or substances that I need to avoid. • Veterinary Contact: Contact information for their veterinarian and instructions on what to do in case of an emergency. Special Needs: • Comfort Items: Favorite toys, blankets, or items that help the pet feel at home and comfortable. • Routine Preferences: Any specific routines the pet is accustomed to, such as bedtime rituals or daily brushing. Emergency Protocols: • Owner Contact: Best ways to reach the owner if needed, and backup contacts if the owner is unavailable. • Emergency Plan: Clear instructions on what to do in case of an emergency, including nearby animal hospitals. Having this information in advance helps me create a seamless and stress-free experience
A typical day
A typical day with my pets is filled with love and fun, no matter how busy my schedule gets. We usually start the day waking up together, as all the animals sleep in my bed. We have lots of cuddle sessions and morning pets to start the day off right. After breakfast, if it’s not too hot, we might go for a walk or head to the park for some outdoor fun. Car rides are always on the agenda, especially if it means a trip to get pup cups, which they absolutely love. Even when I have to go to work, I make sure to check in on them throughout the day. Since I work part-time, I’m able to make several stops home, ensuring they’re comfortable and getting the attention they need. We play in the backyard, and my pug especially loves running around and playing with the other animals. No matter how the day goes, I make sure they feel loved, cared for, and part of the family. Every day is a little different, but it’s always centered around making sure they’re happy and healthy.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was at least 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and love on their pets. I used to dog and housesit for my grandmother and take care of my two wonderful doggies on a regular basis. A friend of mine often travels and leaves her two doggies with me. I have always had dogs and love to care for animals. I have a lot of free time during the week and I can also be flexible on the weekends. I also have 2 fur babies of my own. I will always respect your wishes and take special time and care for getting to know your babies. They are all unique! I am happy to help.
