I have been around dogs and cats all my life and being able to work with them and spend time with them is a very big highlight of my day. They always make me smile. I am very caring when it comes to taking care of pets because to me pets are considered to be a part of the family. Family should always be treated with the utmost respect and care. Some skills that I have are that I am able to make a dog feel safe when giving them medication. I also know how to wrap a hurt paw and what needs to be done in case of burns to the paws on hot pavement during the summer. I am also willing to learn how to do CPR for pets in the case of chocking or other instances. I have a elder dog who has to have wet food mixed into her dry food as well as having a joint supplement. Then I give her and her brother a dental treat. I have fenced in yard as well as two cats and 4 turtles. I take my 2 dogs for walks in the neighbor hood, as well as let them roam around in the backyard while being supervised.
