I've been taking care of animals since about the time I started walking 😅 We grew up with animals and by 6th grade I had my parents convinced that we could foster animals. So, we fostered several litters of kittens, which included medical treatments and bottle feeding. Afterschool, I volunteered at the local horse stable cleaning stalls and giving baths. By the time I was an adult, I worked for several dog rescues and realized that many animals ended up there from a lack of training. So, I became a certified dog trainer and worked for a well established company training all sorts of dogs from puppies to service dogs. I began offering in-home dog boarding and training, too. Of course, I couldn't let the pups go home dirty, so I went on to get my grooming certification. After completing that, I wanted to add another layer of safety and security, so I began going to school as a vet tech. Unfortunately, my dreams of being a vet tech got put on hold because there were other plans for my life, but the knowledge, experience and love of animals is still there! I can't wait to meet your furry, family member and love them as one of my own. We'll have fun and send you lots of pictures of our adventures while you can't be together!
