Pet care experience

Very experienced animal lover!!

Hi, I’m Jessica 🐾 I specialize in quick let-outs, potty breaks, and drop-in visits for busy pet parents. With over a decade of hands-on experience (and a household of four dogs and one cat), I know how to meet pets where they are—whether they’re high-energy, shy, or somewhere in between. I’ve cared for everything from puppies to working breeds, and I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique needs. I work from home, so I’m flexible, reliable, and always nearby for those midday breaks. Let me help keep your pets happy, safe, and stress-free while you’re away 💚

Jessica was great! One of my cats is very shy and she won him over while I was away. She provided updates with cute pictures of them. She was very responsive when I reached out with questions. I felt confident they were in good hands. I will rebook with her again and definitely recommend her!

Jessica was our first official rover sitter drop in and she was a godsend for our 3 month rottie puppy! She knows exactly how to handle the little land shark as she used to have one of her own! She was not afraid of his teething chomps or playing rumbles/growls which a lot of people are. She tired him out a little with training and playing with the puppy after letting him out to potty which I greatly appreciate! Do not hesitate to book her, she knows to how to handle big/small dogs, puppies, and working breeds. I will definitely not hesitate to book her again!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care is woven into my everyday life—it's not just a service, it's my lifestyle. I care for four dogs and one cat of my own, each with their own feeding schedules, routines, and quirks. From early morning let-outs to evening meds and snuggles, my day naturally revolves around animal care. Because I’m already managing multiple pets, I’ve built systems that make care seamless—timed feedings, portion tracking, and daily checklists. Adding drop-in visits or cat care to my routine feels like an extension of what I already do, and I treat every animal with the same attentiveness I give my own. Whether it’s a quick visit or a multi-day schedule, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always happy to send updates so you know your pet is in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide in-home care for both dogs and cats, offering calm, reliable visits tailored to each pet’s needs and personality. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, walks or let-outs, litter box cleaning, playtime, or quiet companionship. I’ve cared for pets with special diets, medication schedules, and multi-animal dynamics, and I always adapt to what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable. With four dogs and a cat of my own, I understand how important consistency and trust are. I’m detail-oriented, respectful of your space, and always send clear updates so you know exactly how your pets are doing. Whether your animal is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra reassurance, I treat them with the same attentiveness I give my own. My goal is simple: to make your time away stress-free—for you and your pets.

Pets

A typical day

I tailor every visit to your pet’s age, energy level, and personality—whether they’re playful pups, curious cats, or mellow seniors. For dogs, enrichment might include sniff walks, puzzle toys, gentle training games, or backyard play. For seniors, I focus on comfort: slow strolls, joint-friendly movement, and calm companionship. For cats, enrichment depends on their vibe—some love interactive toys like feather wands or treat puzzles, while others prefer brushing, cozy lap time, or just quiet company. I’ve cared for pets with mobility issues, medication routines, and special diets, and I always adjust activities to support their well-being. My goal is to make each visit meaningful—whether that means play, comfort, or simply being a reassuring presence while you’re away.

Before any visit, I like to know the details that help me care for your pets exactly the way you do. That includes feeding routines, medication schedules, enrichment preferences, and any quirks or sensitivities—whether it’s a dog who’s leash-reactive or a cat who hides during loud noises. For dogs, I ask about walk routines, energy levels, favorite toys, and how they respond to new people or other animals. For cats, I want to know their comfort zones, litter box habits, and whether they enjoy playtime, brushing, or quiet companionship. If your pet is a senior, has mobility challenges, or needs special care, I’ll ask about what keeps them comfortable—timing for meds, preferred bedding, or movement limitations. I also check for multi-pet dynamics: who eats where, who needs space, and how they interact. The more I know upfront, the smoother and more reassuring the visit will be—for your pets and for you.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
