Safety, trust & environment

I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of great streets to sniff. Dogs who are safe to tether are welcome to spend supervised time in the yard with me while I garden. If your dog likes dog parks, I’m happy to take them to the Woodridge Park down the road! When I’m not home, dogs are crated and supervised with a camera. They will never be left more than 4 hours. My own dog gets oral meds and eyedrops daily, as well as IC injections monthly, so I am comfortable with medication.

Information Jessica E. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know about your dog's normal routine and any medical conditions I should be aware of. I’d also like to know more about their energy levels and play styles.

A typical day

I love to take dogs on hikes through Rock Creek. I also live close to the Woodridge dog park. When the weather is nice, I love taking an adventure to a dog friendly winery! My living room is full of puzzles and toys!

Pet care experience

Hi I’m Jess and I am very much a “dog person”. I was an active dog sitter on Rover for four years, before adopting my own dog, Max, and taking a break from new clients. Max is very friendly with other dogs and loves having new friends come to stay with him! Whether you’re just too busy and need some help during the day or are going out of town, I’m happy to care for your furry best friend. I’ve had dogs my entire life and started pet sitting when I was in middle school. I’ve also successfully fostered 13 dogs! I’m hoping to cross 20 this year. I work from home and I have a camera in my living room to check in on the dogs if I step out for a few hours. I’ll be sure to send you pictures and updates while you’re away. Looking forward to talking to you and caring for your pets!

When we get back from leaving our dog with Jessica, my husband and I basically say to one another for the next few days, repeatedly: "Yep. Jessica is a really great dogsitter."

Jessica is the most amazing dogsitter! She is always the first one we ask to watch him. Our dog ADORES her and she adores him! She is conscientious, reliable, and very communicative. She takes great care of our home and leaves everything better than she found it. This time she took Stubby on an adventure to the state park, which he absolutely loved. Really can't recommend her highly enough.
