Aside from my three furbabies, I also have two human babies, so I get the pleasure of staying home with them. Typically during the week we are home most of the time. I try to take the kids somewhere a few times a week, but we’re never usually gone more than a few hours. Most of our time will be spent at the house snuggling and playing with our new friends!

Unfortunately, we no longer have a fenced yard since moving to Connecticut, so I leash walk all of the dogs that stay with us. I’m happy to take them for a walk around the neighborhood, if that’s what they’re used to, or I can just run them out back. There are plenty of dog parks around if that’s your dogs jam! We’re happy to take them out for some shenanigans.

Information Jessica D. would like to know about your pet
Some things that I would like to know: Is your dog potty trained? Is your dog crate trained? Is your dog kid friendly? Is your dog fixed? Any strange quirks about your dog.
A typical day
My kids love playing with the dogs that come to stay with us, so there will be no lack of playtime when your pups stay with us, if that’s what they’re into. There are several dog parks in the area that we can go to. If you have one that your pup enjoys specifically, let me know, and I’m happy to take them there.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs have always been my favorite, but I have a huge soft spot for cats too! I currently have 2 dogs (Annie and Honey) and 1 cat (Eddie). Aside from my many years of personal experiences with my own pets, I am a certified veterinary assistant through animal behavior college. I have worked as a veterinary assistant at Foxbank Animal hospital in SC, as well as Woodside Animal Hospital in WA. I am comfortable administering medications or assisting with special needs pets, if that is something you require. As I mentioned, I do have two kiddos. My youngest is SUPER into animals, especially dogs. If your dogs are skittish or very nervous, I would recommend another sitter. He is gentle, but likes to pay them lots of attention and I wouldn’t want them to be uncomfortable with us while you’re away.
Reviews

Jessica is an amazingly caring and kind dog watcher. She sends lots of cute pictures and is always quick with a response if I have a question’s. She goes above and beyond every time she watches my dog. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter.
