I work as a Customer Service Quality Supervisor as my main job, and work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I am available for overnights occasionally. However, my own dogs are selective and do not currently allow for outside dogs to come into our house at this time.

In my client's home, I strive to bring a clean dog back to the house and to keep my own shoes and self clean to prevent trekking dirt into your house! I want to treat your pet and house as if they were my own, with utmost care to attention. For dogs, ensuring they have done their business and noting any potential changes in stool quality is important to me. Making sure I am able to locate each cat (we know how they can hide!) and confirm the litter box is being used appropriately is key. Let's not forget fresh water and making sure everyone is fed!

A typical day
I’m a big believer in games and walks that include sniffing and searching to help engage the brain along with getting physical exercise. Mental exercise and puzzles are just as tiring as going for a walk!

From my first pet guinea pig, to fish, to dogs, cats, and horses, I have cared for them all. I have a Bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management, professionally trained horses and managed horse farms, and have extensive experience with handling dogs of all behavior ranges from working with a certified trainer and my own challenging Bluetick Coonhound. I have had to learn so much from this dog, including subtle body language cues, how to reward at the right time, and how to advocate for his special needs. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds, love the spiciest cats, and live to support healthy and happy pets. I truly love animals and would rather spend my time surrounded by critters above everything else. I also am experienced and confident in providing care to many other creatures, including chickens, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, goats, sheep, and horses! *additional fees for these animals may apply!* I offer in home overnights for select clients based on my availability- existing repeat clients taking precedence, new clients please inquire about a drop-in visit or walk prior to an overnight stay request. I do NOT offer boarding as my home is not a licensed kennel and my hounds are reactive.

Jessica was fantastic. She went above and beyond and made us feel better leaving our dog with a stranger. We got daily updates and could see he was happy!
Jess was awesome - super upfront and even did a meet and greet to make us feel comfortable. Our two daughters loved the daily photos that were sent and the drawing that were left. It’s not easy to open your house up to someone, but after meeting Jess we felt comfortable not only with her coming into our home but also to take care of our old man (cat). Will def be re-booking during our next trip or need.
