Both Chris and Jess grew up with dogs (and cats and birds and rabbits), and have had one as a part of their family until our sweet old lady puppy passed away in 2019. Our kiddos are just as enamored with pets as we are, and we currently have two guinea pigs and two parakeets.

I had a great experience and would highly recommend Jessica and Christopher! They took wonderful care of my dog Chewy, sent daily updates and pictures, and made me feel completely comfortable while I was away. Jessica was also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with Jessica and Christopher again.

Schedule
We are a homeschool family, so we are home for most of the day every day. We have a longer co-op day on Wednesdays, in which case (and depending on your puppy's needs) we would have them in a puppy pen in our kitchen and either Jess or Chris would come home around lunch time to take them out. We are home by 3p on Wednesdays. Our oldest children are old enough to leave home by themselves, so even if Jess has to run a quick errand, there is usually someone at home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a great neighborhood for walks! Our yard is fenced, but out of an abundance of caution, we also have a puppy pen in our backyard. We do have a two story house and would keep your puppy downstairs during the day, then crate it in Chris and Jess' bedroom at night. We are a non-smoking home. We have two guinea pigs and two parakeets that can easily be housed in one of the upstairs bedrooms if need be.
A typical day
We have a wonderful, safe neighborhood to walk in AND a family who loves to take walks even without pets. Our schedule guarantees someone would be home with your puppy nearly all hours of the day. We've got some snuggly children too, so there would be no shortage of pets and cuddles.
