About Jessica C.

Safety, trust & environment
My background in Law Enforcement and the Military, including 5+ years of professional pet care owning my own business allow me a different perspective when watching pets. Every visit includes a security check which encompasses checking all doors and windows to ensure they are locked, checking all faucets to ensure the water was shut off. Please note: this does not include any doors that are closed when I arrive. As a way to protect your privacy, if any doors are closed when I arrive they will stay closed. I can check mail if you request me to do so. If you receive any packages on your doorstep while you're away, I will bring in any packages that are addressed to you and leave them on a counter. Every visit includes a Rover report card with photos. I do require a consultation or meet and greet ahead of any planned stay. I prefer to meet at your residence so you can ensure your pet warms up to me, that you're comfortable with me caring for your pets while you're away and so you can show me daily care for your pets, including food location, how much food they get, location of any and all pet supplies including a pet carrier and/or leashes. If you'd prefer to meet away from your residence, we can schedule that first, however I do require one meet and greet at your residence.
Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet
When walking your dog, I need to know if your pup has any trigger objects and how they react to those trigger objects. Additionally I need to know if your dog is leash reactive, or dog reactive. That information helps me when walking them. Please list the following (prior to meet and greet) 1. Commands known 2. Does your dog have a bite history? 3. Does your dog have seperation anxiety? Don’t worry, it’s common. What calms them down? 4. If your pet (dog, or cat) needs medication you must indicate how much and how often. 5. If you need me to feed your pet one meal per day, please indicate how much food they get and where their food area is.
A typical day
All visits include love and affection, play time and interaction if your pet requires it. When I'm with your pet my focus is on them. If I'm doing a drop in visit, I'll feed your pets based on your instructions. If a visit is a mid-day visit for dogs, we will take a walk (if they want) or engage in play and training exercises. Don't be surprised if your dog has learned a new trick when you return home like shake or roll over. Dog training is fun and rewarding for both dog and trainer.

Reviews
Jessica is amazing. I highly recommend her. She is loving, honest, thorough and reliable. She loves your fur babies as her own. I have a senior kitty who is on medication and a special diet. I have to travel frequently due to family and work obligations. When I travel, I can rest assured my boy is in capable, loving hands. I receive a communication every visit. 5 stars 🩷
