Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced-in yard for playing fetch and exploring. I take our pet guests on at least 1 to 2 walks a day, but am happy to do more if requested. I generally allow dogs on the couches, but not my bed. I will provide lots of pets, pats, and snuggles throughout the day. Plus plenty of dog treats to build trust and establish a routine (I use small Charlie Bear liver treats and tiny Milk Bones).

Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know ahead of time if your dog has special needs, or isn’t potty trained or kennel-trained. I have experience with elderly dogs, both large and small. You’re welcome to bring any special toys or bedding to make your pup feel right at home. We let all our canine guests sleep on dog beds in our room overnight (unless the owner requests kenneling at night).
A typical day
I have a large yard that is perfect for sniffing, exploring, and playing fetch. If your dog likes going for walks, I’ll be taking them out and about to explore the neighborhood and nearby wooded trails at least 1 to 2 times a day (unless more or less walks are requested). Our dog, Mando, loves walks, so is always ready to get out for a jaunt in the fresh air—even in the snow! Does your dog love car rides? My minivan is pet-friendly!

Pet care experience
We are definitely a dog-loving family! We’ve always had at least one dog in our pack, and have been the proud parents of several adopted dogs (young and old) over the years. My dad was a veterinarian, so I grew up learning about pets and dog care from the best! Our family members include me, my husband, and our three kids: ages 13 and 11 (twins). We also have a 6-year-old fun-loving yellow lab named Mando. He enjoys playtime, treats, travel, swimming, hiking, and as much activity and exercise as he can handle after having knee surgery last year. Over the years, I have done dog-sitting for family members and I am now a regular sitter for my neighbor’s two beautiful labs (one who is young and active and the other who is elderly).
Reviews

Nash seemed to have a great time! I feel he was well taken care of-and I received some great photos each day while I was away. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Jessica took good care of our pup during a weekend away. Looks like he was right at home and had a fun time.

Jessica and her family took great care of our dog. Highly recommend!

Jessica kept us well updated on our dogs day and sent lots of pictures! Picked up a very tired out pup!!
