I structure my days around the pets I’m caring for, so they’re never just “fit in.” I’m flexible with mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I keep my routine light so I can give plenty of time, attention, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. I’ve had dogs my whole life and was already walking, feeding and caring for them from around 9–10 years old, so I count that as part of my experience alongside what I do now professionally. Ive naturally become the person people rely on when they need help with their pets. I now run my own pet care business, so this is something I do properly, not just casually. I focus on keeping pets in their usual routine and environment so they feel as settled and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and currently working towards further professional qualifications, as well as preparing to offer licensed boarding. I’m calm, patient and used to different personalities — whether that’s energetic dogs or more nervous ones — and I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, cuddles and reassurance while they’re with me. I treat them like they’re my own and aim to keep everything as easy and stress-free as possible. References are always available if you’d like them.

I am so pleased we found Jess! We had booked to go away for a couple of days and I was so anxious about leaving our baby bunnies (Peter and Lily!). Jess called round for a pre visit where we discussed the bunnies routines and needs. After Jess'' visits she sent us some lovely photos of Peter and Lily having cuddles with her and playing outside in the garden. They both looked so content and happy I knew we had made the right decision! Both rabbits were so well fed and looked after with bedding changed etc. even on our very short stay away. Jess started looking after our Cocker Molly earlier this year after first having a meet and greet. Molly is a little sensitive soul but has taken to Jess very well and loves spending the day with her. Jess is very accommodating with always doing her best to fit Molly in and she works around what times you need her. She also follows your routines and takes Molly out for walks during a full day of dog sitting.
Jess has been caring for my 3 children and our 3 pets for several months now and I have always found her to be friendly, reliable and trustworthy. We have a very busy household so it can be a struggle to find someone suitable. Jess is great because not only does she have a good relationship with my children, she is great with my pets too. Jess is always very accommodating to do her best to fit me in when the days I need her vary and sometimes are at short notice. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
