I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and truly enjoy caring for animals and making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their families are away. Friends and clients have trusted me with their pets for years, and I understand how important it is to have peace of mind knowing your pet is in dependable, caring hands. I welcome both dogs and cats and am happy to tailor their care to their individual personalities and routines. Whether your pet is energetic and loves attention or prefers a quieter environment and time to settle in, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home. I work a hybrid schedule, so I’m home much of the time and have plenty of flexibility to provide attention, companionship, playtime, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. On the days I go into the office, I’m typically only away for part of the day—up to about five hours—so pets are not routinely left alone for long stretches. For dogs, I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time as well as plenty of walking trails around my neighborhood. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and sleep so their stay feels as familiar as possible. For cats, I understand that a new environment can take some getting used to and that many cats appreciate having their own space and routine. I’m happy to follow their normal feeding schedule, provide playtime and attention at their comfort level, maintain their litter box, and give them plenty of time and space to settle in. I have experience caring for pets at all stages of life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs and cats who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications and following specific care instructions. I do have a three-year-old child in my home, so pets staying with us should be comfortable and well-behaved around young children. Safety is very important to me, and I want every stay to be a good fit for your pet and my family. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s personality, habits, needs, and previous experience with children before booking. Most importantly, I know every pet is different. Whether yours loves long walks and playtime, wants to curl up for cuddles, or prefers a cozy spot to relax on their own, I’ll make sure their care is tailored to them. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
