Ever since I was 10, I've been happily responsible for taking care of our family dogs. From an early age, I have cared for dogs off all sizes, with a focus on larger breeds. Over the years, our furry family members have included German Shepherds, Boxers, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Bully breeds, and mixed breeds. I have cared for friend's dogs, such as French Bulldogs, chihuahuas, Maltese mixes, German Shepherds, and Great DanesI am experienced in training basic commands, basic grooming, and walking dogs.

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools my two children during the school year. I am available all day, Sunday-Saturday, to make sure your pets are loved, well taken care of, and have constant human interaction while you are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, a wonderful neighborhood nature trail for walking and keeping your pets out of the summer heat, and have a very social Golden Retriever and two animal-loving children to keep your pet company while you are away. I am able to work with your pet on basic commands and leash walking (upon request), and of course, lots of play time! I also do board dogs from different families at the same time- however, if you wish for you pet(s) to be the only ones here (aside from my dog) during their time of boarding, please let me know, and I can accommodate you at no additional charge, as long as there isn't a family scheduled prior to your request. Please make sure your pet(s) are up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick prevention prior to their stay.

A typical day
During the day, I will keep your pups busy and happy with different activities to stimulate them both physically and mentally. One of our favorite games is to play "Find It" when I hide treats around the house and then release the dogs to go find them. This encourages them to use their nose to find food and is a great exercise for them! We will spend our days playing different games such as that, playing fetch, going on walks, etc. We have a wonderful, fully shaded nature trail in our neighborhood to walk on during the summer months so that your pup doesn't get too hot on their walk and so that the sidewalks don't burn their paws.

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, the commands they know, and how they are walking on a leash! I have two children and one dog, so your pet must be comfortable around kids and other dogs for them to board here. While I am home all day, there are times where I will need to run to the store for something. For this reason and for the safety of your pet, I do ask that you bring a crate for them.
