I'm currently transitioning into working a typical full time job, so my once very wide open schedule has slimmed down a lot. I can best typically do check ins and walks in the early morning and in the evening. I'm assuming that I'll be doing a typical 9 to 5, so anything before 9am or after 5pm is within reach for me to make sure your pets are well cared for and loved while you're away. ❤️ You can reach out to me with any schedule questions and I can try to work something out with you!

I always do my very best to be as gentle as possible with all pets! I tend to avoid using "alpha" proving tactics unless it is necessary for my or your pets safety (ex. scruffing, using chokers tightly, using the shock option over the buzz option on an electric collar). I see these options as only being necessary when the pet is acceptionally aggressive and may hurt myself, itself, or others. I'm also very cautious around doors as I know many pets would take the opportunity to bolt it into the street if they could. I can handle bruises and scratches well from excited pets! I'm usually always covered in them from my own fur babies.

I would like a heads up if you'd pet has any sort of triggers, like not to pet certain places or they'll bite or get scared, or not to play certain sounds or say certain words. I would hate to make your baby feel threatened. If they get aggressive or anxious about anything, I would like to be in the know so that I can accommodate them properly. Don't like belly rubs? No belly rubs. Freak out if you see a squirrel on a walk? I'll make sure to take the proper action to keep your furry best friend close to me and safe rather than 15 feet away running at 10mph towards a tree on the other side of the road. Being a woman on the smaller side, large breed dogs may look intimidating standing beside me, and it may appear that I cannot control them, but I was actually raised specifically around strong breeds like Pitbulls, Cane Corsos, German Shepherds, and large mutts. Your giant lap dog will be safe in my care!

I love to let the fur baby decide what we do, as long as it doesn't involve breaking any of the owners rules! If it's time to snuggle, that's what we'll do, if they wanna play tug of war that's what we'll do. I want them to feel like the center of attention to distract them from how much they will inevitably miss their owner.

I was raised around all kinds of animals, and have cared for cats, dogs, snakes, and rabbits. I love them all unconditionally and believe they should be raised to know full bellies, warm cozy nights, and endless love. I have experience working as a groomers assistant and a kennel attendant professionally for about 3 years as well, so I know how to handle special needs ranging from anxiety to aggression. I also understand what it's like to be tight on funds, and the need to budget tightly in order to properly care for your furry friends! Thank you so much Jessica for taking such amazing care of my babies. Your messages were so funny and well written. My trip was very peaceful and relaxing and all the more so because I had someone so caring it made me feel such peace of mind knowing someone like you was looking after my fur babies!
