Large Yard and Lots of Love!
We are heartbroken after losing our 15-year-old Lhasa Apso/Cocker Spaniel "Bacon" last year. We miss having a dog, but it's just not the right time for us to adopt another one. We would love the opportunity to love on your dog while you're away. We are experts in taking care of dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet old seniors. I grew up on Long Island in a family with 2-3 dogs at all times. Our last dog was blind, so we have experience with special needs. We are a very active family, so if a dog requires lots of walks and play, we will be happy to provide it. We also understand if some dogs need rest and quiet, so no need to worry.

Jessica was a fantastic sitter for our high energy pet dog, Zeke. Zeke is a hunting dog, naturally on high alert, a nervous nelly and he is like static- he clings- which makes it difficult to leave him anywhere, even, home alone. We were pleased to received frequent text and picture updates over Zeke's stay. He looked happy, well taken care of, and received all of Jessica and her family's undivided attention. Thanks for taking such great care of Zeke!
Jessica and family were EXCELLENT caretakers for my old girl, Misty! I got constant updates and photos, giving me the peace of mind that’s hard to find when away from my 14 year old dog! Misty got all medication on time and was fed according to schedule. I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could! Best sitters Misty has ever had!
Jessica and her entire family were so great with our dog, Queso. I got plenty of updates and photos, and Jessica was very quick with responses which put my mind at ease. I could tell from the photos that they loved my dog as if he was their own. I’m sure Queso can’t wait to go back!

We left our dog Sammy in Jessica's care for an overnight trip. Sammy is our anxious girl and takes a while to warm up to strangers but Jessica and her family were so friendly and did their best to make Sammy feel welcomed and comfortable. Their home was spacious, clean and dog friendly as well. 10/10 would book with Jessica again!
Jessica was great! Our dog had the best time. She felt comfortable and happy. We appreciated all the photos of her having fun. We would book again and I would highly recommend her to others!

Schedule
I am currently working from home, so I will be able to tend to your dog all day long. I like to take long walks on the golf course in the morning when it's cooler. We have no other dogs in our household, so there would be no conflicts with feeding time, walking, playing, etc. My teenagers are also dog lovers, who will treat your dog like a celebrity once they are home from school. We do have a hamster, but she stays in the cage.

Safety, trust & environment
We treat every dog like it's our own, but at the same time, we are always respectful of the owner's wishes. We will follow any provided schedules to help the dog continue their usual routine. While they are with us, they will get lots of attention, but if they prefer more space, we are happy to give it to them. Our large backyard is not fenced in. For safety, dogs will be kept on a leash when outside.
A typical day
We love to do many activities outdoors, so walking your dog around our neighborhood and playing in the backyard will be on a daily basis. We will also stimulate them mentally, doing fun challenges while playing and having them search for a treat or a toy in a certain area. Treats will be the prize, however, only if it is okay with you!
