Pet care experience
Catsitter & dogsitter/walker/hiker!
I had a dog - a sweet lab mix named Charlie - while growing up, and learned at a young age how to feed, take care of, walk, and play with dogs. While in college, I couldn’t have pets, but after settling in in Salt Lake, I adopted a young cat, Toast, 7 years ago and a kitten, Stinky, 3 years ago. I currently live with Toast, Stinky, and my partner’s 12 year old Welsh Corgi, Gus, and love spending time with both cats and dogs. I am also a distance runner and avid hiker, so if your pup needs more exercise than the average dog, I’d love to take them on a hike, run, or longer walk!

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow the instructions and needs of the client and their pets - whether that involves multiple walks a day, letting the dogs out into a fenced yard, etc. At this time, I cannot host pets at my place.
Ratings and reviews
Wonderful, as always!

We love having Jessica around to watch our cats!

Excellent with the cats, as usual!

Jessica did a great job! The cats were super happy with her.

Jessica has been great with my cats. I am a repeat customer and would recommend!

Jessica was great with our pup! This was our first time using Rover, and it was really comforting to have someone we trusted to take good care of him while we were out of state. Nibs can be particular about people, and has some specific needs for walking which Jessica handled excellently. We also appreciated that she took good care of our place, watered plants, and sent pictures of Nibs throughout our trip. I would highly recommend her as an excellent sitter, and hope she might stay with our dog in the future.

Schedule
In the winter, my schedule is very flexible. From March - October, I work at an urban farm, with a split-shift schedule that allows for a lot of flexibility. I am awake early, available for 3 - 4 hours midday, and again in the evenings. I am able to spend nights house-sitting as well. Sundays and Mondays are my days off, so I have full availability those days.
