I have ample availability throughout the week, I will work with you! I just cannot stay over for more than 12 hours continuously so I can care for my own cats. My calendar is updated! For overnight bookings: There are some days I must be in office for 3 hrs at a time but I can stay in mornings, lunch time and evenings. I do have an office job but can work remotely with advance notice. I will try to spend as much time as I can at your home. However, if you want me to stay in your home for a certain amount of hours per day, please make me aware of that ahead of time.

Whatever instructions you give me, I will follow. I am clean and respectful and try to leave your home exactly as it was when I came in. I will always ask for consent/permission for any questions I have about your home - I believe strongly in transparency, trust, and respect. I always ensure all entry points are secure and locked/shut when necessary. Please make me aware of your apartment complex’s parking policy, and be as detailed as possible. Otherwise just let me know where I can park. If there’s a driveway I’ll assume I can park there while you’re gone.

It is appreciated that you ensure your profile information about your pet is updated so that I don’t get confused while reviewing. Please make me aware of your pet's vet info, and any health or behavioral concerns so I can prepare accordingly. This includes whether your dog pulls a lot while walking, bites (even if in a playful manner), or has strong reactions around other dogs. I am willing to learn how to administer treatment or medications. Please provide me with feeding instructions, location of keys, how long exactly you would like me to stay. If I am walking your dogs, please let me know of nearby parks, and how the dog reacts to other dogs. I won't hesitate to ask you questions, and I will respond to all of your messages promptly! Also, it is perfectly reasonable to record me in the common areas of your home, but please make me aware if you are recording me in your home. This is for my basic expectation of privacy so I feel comfortable—I just appreciate being notified. Rover also sets forth this guideline, it allows for transparency and mutual respect.
A typical day
I want to ensure your dog gets enough scent intake outdoors, and enough playtime both indoor and outdoors. I love playing fetch with dogs and giving them treats! I also just enjoy hanging out on the couch. If your dog enjoys being brushed, happy to do that as well! Meals are always given on time. As for cats, they will get plenty of mental stimulation while I am there, and some treats too! While at your home I’m happy to water your plants or take out your trash as well.

You want to trust your pet sitter and want to make sure they are compatible with your pet’s needs. You want someone you can hire again without future meet & greets. You want someone reliable, empathic, and patient, with great listening and communication skills. I check off those boxes. I have lived with dogs all my life, and I now have a cat of almost 5 years who I raised since he was a kitten. I also just adopted another 3 year old cat from the shelter. I have pet sit dogs and cats for up to a week, and I love animals. I am empathic, and treat my cats like they are my children; I want your pets to be happy and healthy in my care! The more detailed you are about your pet’s care and your expectations, the better! PLEASE NOTE: i will be unavailable August 21-24 and Labor Day weekend, from September 2-8, 2026. I am also NOT located in Staten Island. I am usually free every day for drop ins and walks, and if you reach out to me with at least 24hr notice, I’ll always see if I’m free to house sit the following day/night. I appreciate your business and interest!

Jessica did a great job with drop ins for Teri. Teri is not a fan of going out in the rain to potty but Jessica was so patient with her and was able to make sure she got what she needed. Jessica is also a great communicator which makes everything so much easier also. Highly recommend.

Jessica has pet sat for me twice now (4 days in June and 5 in July 2026). I have a lot of detailed expectations for pet sitters with a cat who requires vigilance with her medication and a chill but somewhat emotionally needy pup. Jessica followed these well and reached out when she was unsure of anything. She also sent daily pictures and updates, and was very responsive when I checked in with specific asks. She communicates well and handled a tough situation very professionally when she had to leave town for a death in the family, quickly helping me figure out a new plan that worked for everyone where I had another trusted sitter cover as well as a friend and recommendation from Jessica who I’ll also keep on my list for future needs. If you’re looking for an overnight sitter, I’d certainly recommend Jessica!
