I am home almost all the time except to run errands or go to the gym. Sometimes I do checkins for animals at their homes. Otherwise I’m home. :)

Safety, trust & environment
I communicate with pet owners about the individual safety needs of their pet. Please feel free to tell me what your pet needs! :) Currently I live in a ground level apartment where stairs are totally avoidable (helpful for senior and disabled dogs!). I am willing to negotiate a monthly rate with you if you need long term care at my place. I give frequent updates with both photos and videos. I know you miss them <3

Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet
Dogs need to have minimal barking - this is a family housing unit and noise very much carries. Acceptable barking: knocks at the door or doorbell ringing is fine and normal. Not acceptable: If I leave for an hour and they bark incessantly/ anxiously the whole time. Dogs are allowed on my furniture and will not go without cuddles. I have made my entire home a pet friendly paradise. Please leave me with emergency vet information - just in case.
A typical day
I usually have multiple dog bookings, but I always make sure dogs get along by taking them on pack walks, and by giving dogs personal space time in the various rooms of my house if needed. Dogs must have no history of attacking humans or dogs.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Jess, and I am a full time animal caretaker! I have my own business - Jess the Fairy Dogmother, LLC. My specialty is in boarding couch potatoes. I proudly prioritize senior, disabled, and special needs dogs that have a hard time in typical boarding facilities. About me: I am dog mom to Choco, a chocolate Chihuahua, and cat mom to Marco, a blind Russian Blue. They are good around all different kinds of dogs, old and young, big and small. They’re great companions for socializing your dog around other animals. My cat thinks he’s a dog - please don’t tell him otherwise. I do check-ins, boarding, and daycare. I don’t do overnight house sittings. I don’t take dogs in my home under 1 year old. I affectionately call my home Camp Couch Potato. For boarding and daycare, I am able to take dogs out for potty breaks 3-4 times per day, or more, if needed. Couch potatoes and low to moderate energy dogs are preferred - I don’t have a yard for easy zoomy access. Camp Couch Potato gets lots of sunshine and we love to lounge in it. I have beds for small and big dogs, dog gates, white noise makers, blankets, heating pads, toys, bowls, poop bags, washable diapers, and my own slip lead leashes - all you need to bring is their food and medicine! If they use a slow feeder you’ll need to bring me theirs. I don’t crate unless you already do at home and bring theirs to my place. I have plenty of experience administering different oral medications, ear and eye drops, injections, and wound dressings. I don’t hesitate to take animals to their vet while in my care if you and I decide they need it.

Excellent space and care for my brand new foster pup.

Jessica does great. Callie really liked it at her place. She even made friends with her blind cat Marco.

Jamie is truly a great sitter! Her place is so perfect for a dog to relax and have fun. Chill and relaxing and fun vibes. The cat Marco is super dog friendly, lovingly make friends with my dog. Hjamie is very responsive and flexible with my pick up and drop in time. I’m so happy koala spent the day at her place, making dog and cat friends!
