Pet care experience

A walk a day will keep the vet away

I have had all sorts of animals since I was little. I love animals. My kids love animals. We would love to provide a fun environment for you dog while your away or need a little extra help :) **Please note that my home is a kennel house, at night your pup will need to sleep in a kennel for the comfort of my own animal. Thank you**

My dog Izzy loves going there. She gets so excited when she shows up. Makes it a lot easier on all of us that she’s loved just like we love her.

Jessica and family treated our baby just like their own and we couldn't be more grateful. I would recommend to anyone!

First and last experience from Rover or strangers I'll ever have. This sitter and her friends seem to think they are animal experts and human lie detectors. My dog is slim and fit, not underfed. My dog puked 11 times over a day, I was told, but I was not told what he puked 11 times(I still don't know if the sitter kept feeding him). This sitter made puke sound like the world was ending. Like talking to a different person. She knew I was starting a new job but demanded I come pick up my dog (quit my new job in the process). When I told her I would be fired, she claimed she would surrender him. I said okay if you just give them my info so I can deal with it when I'm off work. Sitter took that as a sign that I wanted to surrender my dog myself? Clearly manic, this sitter could not be reasoned with. Multiple vital questions went unanswered, I was so worried about my dog I asked RCMP to take the dog from her. Rcmp could not, because the dog is a healthy and happy dog. SPCA, animal Control, and whoever else she called to get the dog taken from me, could not do anything because the dog is a healthy and happy dog. There is much more that would take a while to go on about but the cherry on the cake would have to be how irresponsible of a parent she is. I told her early on my dog has issues resource guarding with kibble and to separate him from everyone and every animal when he was eating and for about 20-30 minutes after eating until he forgets he just ate, basically. This sitter, let her young child pet my dog while eating, the very first meal my dog was given. I told her he is very liable to bite during eating, but super unlikely to bite any other time of day, and maybe snap/warn when he is in bed sleeping. Great job. I can only imagine the nightmare that would have unfolded if my dog had sunk teeth into a child when they were warned. Sitter claimed there would not be an issue and it's not a problem. If puke is Armageddon, imagine a bite. So irresponsible. The only positive thing, my first time working was supposed to be 14 days, found out about 12 days in that it's going to be about 18-20 days. The stay got extended. I don't know why she decided to try me, but my dog is one of the last dogs on this earth that needs help or a new owner. If you have a fat, lazy, always sleeping dog, this is the sitter for you. If you have an active, fit dog, this sitter will fatten it up and try to have it taken from you.

Doggy Day Care • Sep 04, 2024

Jessica took care of our dog, Cashew, yesterday, and we couldn’t be happier with her service! She was incredibly responsive, making coordination easy from the start. Cashew seemed happy and well taken care of when we picked him up, and it was clear that he received plenty of attention and care. We felt completely at ease knowing Cashew was in good hands. We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

I received her name from a friend, and I am so glad I did. I can tell that my dog was loved the entire time she was there.
