Information Jessica C. would like to know about your pet

I love all breeds, every dog has their own personality. And breed can be sweet, or a brat! lol I will need to know age, breed, temperament, energy level, dog friendliness (this is a big one, my big girl is easily bullied, and anybody that will bully her, has gotz to GO, I'm afriad. She is number ONE.). And if we book a stay, I like to get as much written up as possible about any and every little idiosyncrasy possible, to make them feel as home as I can.

A typical day

They have access to the yard, in and out, all day, I work right inside the deck door. We do typically do a long walk a couple of times a week, and make a trip to the dog park in Willmar on occasion. But as I am still recovering from the worst of the Lyme Disease, there are days that I am able to much beyond letting them in and out, I am not able to take dogs require a guaranteed amount of exercise each day. Love, cuddles, in and out to the yard, guaranteed all day, everyday. If they are staying over 3-4 days, almost certain to get one of the long walks about town in too. :)

Pet care experience

Oh my gosh, where to even begin... :) I started and built, Girl Meets Dog Pet Care Services - Chicago, from 2000, through 2018 (I’m relatively new to doing this in the Rover route, so most of my reviews are posted on other sites), when I became too ill with Lyme Disease, and needed to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family until I became well enough to get back on my feet. Now, I have little home in Spicer, MN, with a big deck and a fenced in yard. I work from home (fashion reseller) so it's me and my big sweet Ni'ta Girl, a 9 year old 100 lbs. of Great Pyrenees sweetness), little Henry (dog loving little 4 year old Bichon-Shih Tzu), hanging around here all the time, so we've decided it's time some other sweet kids get to come soak up this perfect dog loving life with us! I so miss having a house filled with 'nieces and nephews' for me to dote on and spoil rotten, so, if your kid deserves to be treated like like true children (or even better than that, in my book ;)), then this is where they belong. I had clients that called it 'going to camp' when they were coming to stay with us (it's just me, and my fur kids here. Note: due to Nita’s senior age, we don’t take any ‘high energy’ doggos at this time, but all others are welcome!).

Jessica was so wonderful with our little Snarla. Jessica sent updates as requested. We will definitely call her the next time we need a sitter. Thanks again for everything Jessica! Kitty, Mike, and Snarla.

When it is your pet - you want only the best. Someone who will treat your pet like you do. Someone who is dependable, ethical, loving and kind, and someone who understands - really understands - animal behavior. That is Jessica!

Jessica has an amazing connection with all animals! She's been in the petcare business for 10+ years and is the best of the best. You can be rest assured that your furry kids are in the best of hands!

I have been a client of Jessica's services for a little over ten years. Without hesitation, I would wholeheartedly recommend Girl Meets Dog. Simply put, Jessica is passionate about her work. She's a professional. She is trustworthy. And she is a person of integrity. When I leave for a business trip, Jessica completely removes the "worry" about my dog's well-being. From one dog owner to another: Jessica is the real deal.
