Professional Animal Caretaker
I've taken care of dogs and cats of every kind through working at BARCS, volunteering and fostering. I have had a strong passion for the well-being of animals since I was a little kid. I have experience with animals of different temperaments and preferences along with observing changes in animal behavior and health. I have fostered many cats over the last few years of various ages. Since 2021, I have been volunteering with Animal Rescue that partners with PetSmart. I am a social worker with plenty of free time at the moment to adhere to your animal companion's needs. On Monday evenings i volunteer at the Petsmart in Towson taking care of the shelter cats. As my schedule is very flexible I can easily work with your schedule. For overnight stays/visits I would requests to be notified about 2-3 days before to prepare. Cancellations can be done one day before but I would prefer either a 2 or 3 day notice. I currently can't house cats or dogs at my residence. Within the client residence I follow their instructions. There are no limitations. I make sure animals have access to water, food, comfortable resting spot, frequent exercise and play along with rewarding them with treats. I am also aware of any unusual behavior with your pet. I am open to negotiating cost.

I am unable to take care of your furry companions in my home but love providing care to them in your home. I ask questions about your furry companions daily routine, what they like to do, health needs. I love to meet the animal where they are at and build trust. I love spending quality time with them whether playing or lounging around.

Jessica was so amazing with our cat and dog, she not only kept us updated with their activities, feeding, and any questions, and they were clearly happy and calm when we got home. Cannot recommend enough!
Jessica was amazing! Punctual, respectful, kind, and so sweet to our dog and cat. She was very dedicated to her time with our boys, including frequent updates and pictures. It made us feel so at ease to see how happy they were while we were gone. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I have a lot of flexibility with my work schedule which allows me to take care of your fur babies during the week. If anything comes up I make sure to update my calendar and value communication.
