I have owned and fostered many dogs throughout my life. I also worked at a pet store for several years and volunteered at a shelter in college. Additionally, I was an equestrian and spent years working with horses. I truly love animals and I have a vast range of experiences with many different sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. Since becoming a Rover sitter, my experience has evolved tremendously. I now specialize as a care taker for special needs dogs with IVDD pre and post surgery. This requires administering medicine, bladder expression, proper paraplegic mobility techniques, and intense rehabilitation. That being said, I am extremely committed to helping in whatever ways possible, which could also just mean giving your pup lots of love and cuddles! I can assure you that I am well equipped to take great care of your best friend! When they are in my care, I vow to treat them as my own and take their needs seriously. I am very patient, dedicated and understanding. My fiancé is also very helpful and we work as a team to care for the dogs. He is very experienced due to his family running a foster program and housing many dogs of different breeds, ages and behaviors. Since we work from home, your pet has constant supervision with us. We have grown to love and adore the pets we host. Now that I’ve been with Rover for quite some time, I can’t imagine my life without them. They bring me so much joy and happiness!

Jessica and her husband were great! Really good communication and Charlie was able to rest and recover during the work week with them post surgery. Felt comfortable with them, and we got updates!!
Jessica has watched our dog a few times and she has been amazing! She takes such good care of her and takes her on plenty of walks. Our dog isn’t super social with other dogs, so she was able to really help her feel comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
We currently do not have pets of our own and we love having our new furry friends around. As for my availability, my weekly schedule is not always consistent but I am very reliable and communicative. I will always make sure we are on the same page and will not cancel on you last minute. I will adjust to your communication preferences as needed by sending as many updates/photos of your pet as you’d like. I understand trusting someone new with your baby is a huge decision and I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

A typical day
A typical day booking with me would include feeding them, cuddling on the couch, playing with their favorite toys, brushing them, giving treats, going on fun nature walks, going to the dog park and letting their energy out.
