More than just a cat sitter
Cats are more than just a job to me — they’re what I genuinely love. I’m passionate about understanding feline behaviour, personalities and individual needs, and I’m always keen to learn more. My rescue, fostering and cat charity experience means I understand that every cat is different, from confident and sociable to shy and nervous. I take the time to understand each cat and provide care that suits them. As a primary school teacher and trusted member of the local community, I’m responsible, reliable and used to putting the wellbeing of others first. I’m also DBS checked, giving you extra reassurance that your cat is in safe hands.

Safety, trust & environment
I only provide care in the pet owner’s home, as I find most cats are happiest and least stressed staying in their own familiar environment and routine. I always take time to understand each cat’s individual personality, needs and routine — whether they are confident, shy, elderly, playful or nervous. I have experience with rescue cats and understand the importance of patience, calm handling and respecting boundaries, especially for anxious cats. During visits I ensure cats have fresh food and water, clean litter trays, enrichment, affection (on their terms!) and a safe, calm environment. I’m reliable, responsible and very security conscious in clients’ homes, making sure doors, windows and feeding routines are carefully checked each visit. I would be happy to do any little extras required. I also provide regular photo and message updates so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. I know firsthand how much of a difference this makes!

We are so grateful that we found Jessica! We completely trusted her to take good care of our cats and that’s exactly what she did. She was very caring and professional. She came to meet us and the cats beforehand to get a handover which was really helpful. We really appreciated the daily communication and photo and video updates. Over the course of the week we could really see our cats bonding with her which warmed our hearts. It was the first time for us leaving our cats so we were a bit nervous but Jess completely made us feel confident that our cats were being taken care of. Jessica was looking after our cats for almost 2 weeks! She was very kind and prompt from the beginning when I first messaged her! Both our girls are rather shy and antisocial with strangers first but Jessica managed to make friends with them with her gentle and loving approach! She was very flexible letting our cats outside to our garden and sitting with them outside a bit! She was keeping us updated and sent photos after every visit! We arrived home for happy cats and a tidy home! We highly recommend her and we will definitely ask her again to take care of our cats! Thank you x
Jessica did a fantastic job of looking after my two cats this weekend. She arranged a proper handover before we left and kept us updated throughout our trip - it was so nice to receive pictures and videos of our cats looking happy. This was my first time using a cat sitter and I really feel Jessica went above and beyond; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and we have already booked again for our next trip.

Jessica was great with my cat! She responded quickly to my initial message, was contactable, and messaged in advance to check she had a handover - very reliable. Jessica also had a great demeanor with my cat, understanding his personality and adapting her approach accordingly. She spent time with him and sent photos and videos. Overall I would definitely trust her with looking after my cat again and would reccommend her to others.
Jess took care of our two cats, Kitty and Loki (one of whom is a rescue), and I can’t say enough good things about her. She always kept us in the loop about our fur babies and made us feel so comfortable. Her understanding of cat health, behaviour and needs was truly exceptional. Since she volunteers with rescues in her free time, she was able to connect with our rescue and we came home to two very happy cats, which is quite a feat. We would definitely use her again or recommend her to anyone. Thank you Jess!

Schedule
As I work full time as a teacher, I currently offer evening visits during weekdays and have wide availability across most weekends. I’m also fully available during school holidays, which works particularly well for owners travelling during half terms and summer breaks. I always make sure I only take on bookings I can fully commit to, so every cat receives reliable, attentive care and plenty of updates while their owner is away. I am also more than happy to be flexible to try and accommodate your plans.

- It’s helpful to know your cat’s personality, likes and dislikes, and how they feel about visitors, so I can tailor my visits. Please also share any health conditions, medication or anything else I should be aware of.
