I work from home about half the time and go into my Pasadena office the other half (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays, sometimes other days) so I am able to spend plenty of time during the day with your pup (or kitty) and take them out for potty/playtime breaks! **Dogs who need constant care or near constant care may be subject to additional fees*

When I’m housesitting, I try to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. Whether that means multiple walks a day, hiking, playtime, snuggles, or anything in between, I am able to do it all. Please don’t be shy to tell me how I can spoil your pet!

Is your dog shy or nervous at first meet? If so, it might be helpful to have me give him/her treats at the initial meeting! Everything else we can go over in person. We will discuss your pet’s daily routine, triggers, behavior on walks, dietary needs, allergies, etc.

I make sure the animals in my care get the love, attention and exercise they deserve. I’ll walk your dog up to 3 times a day for housesits at no extra cost. I also enjoy hiking so if your dog does too I would love to have a buddy to do that with. I do not do off-leash walking. Not only will I provide exceptional care for your pet(s), I will water your plants, collect your mail and leave your home in excellent condition. I will never bring another person into your home without your permission.

*I am unable to take last minute requests for NEW clients as I require a meet & greet for all new clients. I am okay with virtual M&G’s in a last minute scenario for cats only (I require in person meet & greets for dogs). Returning clients are welcome to reach out for last minute requests - even if my calendar says I’m unavailable (I may have had a last minute cancellation or be able to squeeze you in!) I am working professional in my 30s and have enjoyed house/petsitting for 20+ years. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that they are not just pets, they're beloved, irreplaceable family members. As a lifelong animal lover, I grew up in a household with multiple dogs, cats, birds, frogs, turtles and rabbits. I am that person who is hanging out with the dog at a party or who sits on the sidewalk to make friends with the neighborhood cats. I spent 2 years volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society working with the shy/anxious dogs as well as the hyperactive/untrained dogs. Additionally, I have experience with older/sick pets who need extra care or medication. I have plenty of experience walking high energy and reactive dogs and use extra caution when working with these dogs. I can handle strong pullers, but if your dog is 80+ pounds and a puller, I will request a trial walk. I know pets may feel especially anxious, nervous or scared when their family members are gone, so I make sure to give them extra love and attention and try to make them feel as safe and secure with me as possible. Each animal has their own needs and boundaries and I am good at picking up on their cues - knowing when they need cuddles, a belly rub, or if they just want some space. I am good at building trust with animals while looking out for their safety and overall happiness. I love animals more than anything and always treat them with respect and kindness. Pets seem to love me back which brings me so much joy and is the reason why I love being a pet provider on Rover. **Please note my service area for housesitting is wider than my service area for dog walks and dropins. For housesitting I serve the greater San Gabriel Valley, Northeast LA and sometimes further areas. For walks and dropins I serve Alhambra, Highland Park, El Sereno, San Marino, South Pasadena and most parts of Pasadena. This is our second time booking with Jessica and we couldn't be happier and more assured with our decision to book again. We've had several sitters over the years as we've moved to different cities and Jessica is by far the most conscientious, caring and considerate sitter we've had. We have a kitty with kidney disease and she went above and beyond in being attentive to her needs and making sure she was comfortable while we were away. She is highly dependable and a great communicator. Our other pets have come to love and trust her and she treats them like her own. We were away for a few weeks and even seemed like our house was cleaner than when we left it. Thanks, Jessica, for being so amazing - our family truly appreciates it!
