*I am unable to take last minute requests for NEW clients as I require a meet & greet for all new clients. I am okay with virtual M&G’s in a last minute scenario for cats only (I require in person meet & greets for dogs). Returning clients are welcome to reach out for last minute requests - even if my calendar says I’m unavailable (I may have had a last minute cancellation or be able to squeeze you in!) I am working professional in my 30s and have enjoyed house/petsitting for 20+ years. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that they are not just pets, they're beloved, irreplaceable family members. As a lifelong animal lover, I grew up in a household with multiple dogs, cats, birds, frogs, turtles and rabbits. I am that person who is hanging out with the dog at a party or who sits on the sidewalk to make friends with the neighborhood cats. I spent 2 years volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society working with the shy/anxious dogs as well as the hyperactive/untrained dogs. Additionally, I have experience with older/sick pets who need extra care or medication. I have plenty of experience walking high energy and reactive dogs and use extra caution when working with these dogs. I can handle strong pullers, but if your dog is 80+ pounds and a puller, I will request a trial walk. I know pets may feel especially anxious, nervous or scared when their family members are gone, so I make sure to give them extra love and attention and try to make them feel as safe and secure with me as possible. Each animal has their own needs and boundaries and I am good at picking up on their cues - knowing when they need cuddles, a belly rub, or if they just want some space. I am good at building trust with animals while looking out for their safety and overall happiness. I love animals more than anything and always treat them with respect and kindness. Pets seem to love me back which brings me so much joy and is the reason why I love being a pet provider on Rover. **Please note my service area for housesitting is wider than my service area for dog walks and dropins. For housesitting I serve the greater San Gabriel Valley, Northeast LA and sometimes further areas. For walks and dropins I serve Alhambra, Highland Park, El Sereno, San Marino, South Pasadena and most parts of Pasadena.
