I have a safe apartment complex with other leashed dogs that are all friendly surrounding me. My home is smoke free and we don’t use aerosols or candles due to owning birds. Our birds are kept separate from your animals and your pet will be supervised and played with and let out for potty breaks and walks every hour or two.

Please let me know ahead of time any special needs of your dog and any special instructions you may have. My preference is for dogs that are well trained but I can handle puppies and have owned a puppy in the past.
A typical day
I will take pets to the state park within walking distance for walks, on a loop or on a trail. I will play with your dog and interact with the a lot during the day.

Hi I’m Jess! I’ve previously worked for petsmart and have owned pets all of my life! I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. I have volunteer experience with rescue dogs at a rescue in Pa in my twenties, volunteered at Tri State Bird Rescue, and Forgotten Cats for many years. I have been a sitter for dogs of all sizes including a coon hound, pit mix, corgi, and a golden doodle. I’ve even made homemade dog food when necessary! I have also been a sitter for cats! I’m willing to get my hands dirty and am used to cleaning up for and bathing dogs in my home as well! I love the outdoors and walking dogs, so your dog will get plenty of outside time. There is a state park close to my home that I frequent. If you have other animals in your home like Guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, lizards, etc I can care for them too with my knowledge from working at Petsmart. Helping me will be my significant other who currently works for petsmart also. I’m an animal lover at heart and will take great care of your pet as if it were my own!

Rover could not find a better pet sitter in Jessica! She has an absolute love of all animals. She has dogs and cats of her own and fosters others and has tons of parrots, parakeets and other birds. She will take excellent care of any and all of your pets and good care of your home too. She watches my three cats and keeps them well fed, played with and cared for when we are away. We had a leak from our whole house water system and she had to deal with the clean up of that while we vacationed across the country. She is trustworthy, honest, reliable and a real gem.
