I do work full time as a teacher, but work 5 minutes from home. I’m home every night and weekends. I am flexible with my schedule in regards to your needs. It does not have to be long-term and I’m often available last minute. During the summer I am home most of the day every day.

I do have a fenced in yard to allow the dogs to run around and play. I have pugs that are very friendly and are used to new dogs joining our home. We spend a lot of time snuggling together or playing with their many toys!

Information Jessica A. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know if the dog is good with cats. I don’t have a breed preference, but would like the dog to be approximately 40 pounds or less. There is some wiggle room in that preference, however. I do have a lot of experience with pugs, French bulldogs, Boston’s and bulldogs.
A typical day
We will run around in the fenced in yard. We will snuggle together and watch movies. We will play with lots of toys and maybe learn a new trick! One lucky dog even got to go see Santa when she stayed with me through the holidays!

I have had dogs for 12 years, but have loved them all my life! I have a lot of experience with brachycephalic dog breeds (dogs with smooshy faces), so I’m well aware of breathing issues, sensitivity to heat, cleaning wrinkles, etc. I also have worked with many senior animals that struggle to walk and are incontinent. I cared for a blind, diabetic dog for 3 years so I am comfortable giving insulin or other medications. I have also worked with dogs that are deaf and used hand signals to communicate with them.

As always, Jessica was amazing. The love she has for dogs is unmatched. Jess has been watching our older dog for a few years now and I never worry when my dog is with her. To me, that is priceless. She is also incredibly accommodating and kind. I really appreciate her!
Jessica is awesome, our two Frenchies came home happy and a little tired from all the fun they had. She is very trustworthy, caring, and we feel safe bringing our guys to her anytime.
