I have crates for those needing them at night or when away. When I have to leave the house, all pets, even my own, are kenneled for safety. Our yard has a horizontal peek-through fence at 5 feet high and lots of shaded areas. For drop-in visits, I usually ask clients to write or text a detailed care sheet that goes over everything from feeding, treats, and grooming. I also offer to check the mail and water the plants. For house sitting requests, please understand that I can not do over night. What I offer is that anytime I am available and not with another client, I would be at your home. I am comfortable with cameras as long as I have been informed of their locations.

I like to keep details on shots and vet records handy in case of emergency. Please have all vet, diet, and pertinent information updated and available at the time of pick up or arrival for boarders. For in-home visits, you can add the information on Rover or have it written/printed for when I arrive. Please share with me anything you'd like me to know about your pets to better understand their behaviour and their daily schedule.
A typical day
I take them on walks to approved areas for my daily walk clients. If I do in-home visits and there is no fence, we take a walk around the neighbourhood if in safe and convenient area. If learning new tricks or in any classes, I will be happy to continue their training. I have numerous dog toys that are safe and cleaned daily, or happy to use the toys provided...no guarantee they will come back in one piece.

Pet care experience
There is no request or pet too big or small. Your fur family is in safe hands. I have had dogs (and many other pets) in my family my entire life. I have five years of dog training through PetSmart, worked as a kennel technician at a Veterinary hospital for three years, worked as a dog walker/pet sitter for a local family owned business, and was at University for my Veterinary degree. I keep a detailed log of my interactions/homestays. This is especially helpful when I have repeat clients. I follow all of your written directions and requirements. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Petsitters which is a national non-profit organization and attend quarterly training seminars to better assist myself and my clients.
