Pet care experience

Your dogs favorite vacation!

Hey there! We’ve been pet sitting professionally for a couple years now, and animals are our shared passion. Between the two of us, we’ve handled everything from tiny kittens and high energy puppies to senior dogs and massive breeds. We’re privately insured and pet first aid certified, so your pets are in safe hands. We’re both full time students at UNR, but our schedules complement each other really well, one of us works an early morning shift while the other works daytime hours, meaning one of us is almost always around. Pets are rarely left alone for more than 2 hours. We live in a two story townhome, while we don’t have a private backyard, we're a literal 5 minute walk from the Miners Trail and the Reno Sports Complex, so active dogs get plenty of solid outdoor time.

We had to board our girl on short notice, just a few days before our trip. Jesse was flexible in fitting in a meet and greet beforehand and kept us updated with photos while we were away. He was also super accommodating with drop off and pick up times, which made the whole experience stress free.

Jesse responded to a last minute request over the holiday weekend and took care of our boy Cyrus. He picked him up, watched over him, and dropped him off. He was prompt, professional, and I would definitely reach out to him again for future sits. 👍

Jesse did a great job watching my 75lb goldendoodle for a week! He kept me updated and sent photos of him each day. It’s hard to find a trustworthy Rover that you feel completely comfortable with but Jesse was it. I will absolutely use him again when the time comes. Thank you Jesse!

Doggy Day Care • Aug 27, 2025

I gave Jesse 5 stars for taking such good care of Hank my very active 2 yr old Aussie. Jesse communicated with me the 3 days he watched Hank as when to pick him up and drop him off which was important due to the time changes daily with my job. Most important of all was how happy Hank was to see Jesse each day. Also Hank fell asleep early each night I’m sure from getting plenty of play time. TY Jesse

Schedule

Schedule Between the two of us, our schedules cover the whole day: one of us works an early morning shift and the other works daytime. Our classes at UNR are short (just 1 to 2 hours a day) and staggered. That means someone is almost always around, and our free time is spent taking dogs out on walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures If you are looking to schedule a meet and greet I prefer to do them in my own home for boarding or daycare but can go without one for last minute request.

Safety, trust & environment

In our home, we keep things active with daily walks and plenty of outdoor playtime. Your dog's routine stays exactly how you want it, whether that means being crated or left out when we step away. During drop ins or walks, we treat every client's home with the utmost respect.

A typical day

We love keeping pups active, so our daily routine usually revolves around a solid hike or longer walk exploring the local trails and parks around Reno. Back at our place, we spend plenty of time playing and keeping things engaging. Our home is fully stocked with interactive puzzle toys, chew toys, and plenty of cozy spots to crash. Whether we're out on the trail or hanging out at home, your dog's daily routine is tailored entirely to their energy level and habits.

I emphasize that your dog needs to be house broken, and not a super anxiety filled dog. I prefer dogs that are well behaved around other dogs, but I will still take a dog as long as I have no other dogs with me during that time. I also cannot take dogs that have a tendency to destroy things. Your dog must be low maintenance. Excessive accidents or property damage may result in additional fees. Additionally any medication, habits good or bad your pet posses and their reactivity towards people or dogs.
