I grew up in a house that fostered dogs of all breeds and ages, so I spent my childhood learning to understand animals communications and needs. Though I do not currently have the space required for my own pup, I take advantage of any pet sitting opportunities! I'm patient and energetic and definitely able to keep up with your most playful pups!

I have pet/house sat in the past, so you can be sure that I will respect your space! I'm a very clean and tidy person so if me or your pets make a mess, I will always clean up after us.

I hired Jesse to take care of my cat Marshy for two weeks while I was traveling to India. When I was returning home after a 36-hour international flight, I asked my daughter to check on him. She found Marshy crying hysterically in front of his food bowl, which was completely empty. My cat had been left without food. I had previously told Jesse that there was a large unopened Amazon package with extra cat food on the table, but she apparently forgot. When I contacted her about the situation, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, she tried to blame me by saying she had texted me that the food had run out and that I took five hours to respond. I was literally in transit after traveling halfway across the world. Leaving an animal without food is completely unacceptable. A pet sitter’s basic responsibility is to ensure the pet is safe and cared for. When an owner is traveling internationally, it is common sense to anticipate delays and make sure the animal has enough food. Even if she had forgotten about the extra food I mentioned, the responsible thing to do would have been to buy a small bag of dry food to make sure Marshy was taken care of. I would of course have reimbursed her. I am giving two stars only because the house looked fine when I came back and the litter box was clean. However, I cannot recommend someone who allows a pet to go hungry and then refuses to take accountability for it. Pets depend entirely on the people caring for them, and basic care like making sure they have food should never be neglected. On a personal note to Jesse when she told me I berated her when I told her how upset I was at this situation: pets are like family. Imagine how you would feel if a child were left crying in front of an empty plate. That is what happened here.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, so my afternoons and evenings are almost always free! I'd be more than happy to spend my afternoon playing in your yard with your dogs, or taking them to different parks so they can socialize! Whatever works best for you and your pet's needs.
