I’ve been around animals my whole life and consider myself a true lifelong pet owner. From growing up with dogs and cats to caring for friends’ and neighbors’ pets whenever they traveled, I’ve handled just about every routine — feeding schedules, walks, hanging out, and playtime. I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and can confidently administer medications on schedule, whether that’s pills or drops. I’m patient about helping animals warm up at their own pace. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priority.

When I’m caring for pets in your home, my first priority is keeping their routine and environment consistent so they feel calm and secure. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedule exactly as written, keep doors and gates secured, and stay attentive on walks — leashed at all times unless you’ve told me otherwise. For house sitting, I treat your home with respect, keep it tidy, bring in mail or packages, and send regular photo and text updates so you always know how things are going. For day care at my home, pets have a clean, safe space with plenty of fresh water, supervised play, and quiet time to rest. I’m comfortable with senior pets needing extra patience or medication, and with cats and multi-pet households where everyone needs their own space and attention.

Jesse is an exceptional person to have watch / walk your dogs. He has cared for both of our dogs (10 and 4, both 65 lbs and rescues) who each have their own special quirks; one has behavioral issues and aggression; both are shy and weary around males, and Jesse is the only one both they and we trust! He has a calm demeanor, meets the dogs where they are, and truly cares for the them. He is trustworthy, dependable, and communicative. When watching, both dogs received their medications, were fed on time, walked and played with - we even got photos and updates! Highly recommend Jesse to watch or walk your dogs!
Jesse has been caring for my 2 (now senior) dogs for many years. He is always reliable and takes such great care of them (I have a 14 year old Yorkie and an 11 year old staffie). The boys love when uncle Jesse dog sits them! He takes them on great walks, makes sure they’re well fed (even though they can get picky when I’m out of town), leaves the tv on fun shows for them to watch, and spends extra time to make sure to give them lots of one on one attention. We hire Jesse anytime he’s free, can’t recommend him enough!
As an overprotective dog parent, I would highly recommend Jesse if you are in need of a reliable, caring pet sitter. Jesse first watched our Boxer pup when I had to cancel her boarding due to a cough she developed right before a trip I had planned. Jesse met with my dog and I prior to discuss her routines and the medication she was taking, and it was clear that my dog was in great hands. Jesse was so diligent with sending updates (especially when we were already concerned that we had to be away when our dog wasn’t feeling well), administering her medication, and went above and beyond recording and sharing notes about how she was doing. Since then, Jesse has watched our dog several times, and this level of care and communication has been a constant. My dog absolutely loves Jesse, and we are extremely thankful for a pet sitter who treats our pup as his own and genuinely cares for her.
When your pet is in Jesse's hands, you truly have nothing to worry about. He makes sure that he follows their care instructions precisely, and loves them as if they were his own. He understands that caring for someone's pet is no small task, and that he's being entrusted with the safety and wellbeing of a furry family member. Jesse will not only make sure your pet is loved and watched after, but that they also have fun. He's a proactive sitter who goes above and beyond basic pet care.

Schedule
I’m a teacher on summer break. My weekdays are completely open right now, which means your pet gets attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day rather than long stretches alone. I’m flexible with timing for drop-in visits, walks, and doggy day care, and I can usually accommodate early-morning or evening visits when needed. Weekends I have some availability as well, so I’m happy to help with house sitting or day care on Saturdays and Sundays when my schedule allows. I always confirm timing in advance and stick to your pet’s normal routine.
