I've owned and trained dogs for over ten years. I've done almost everything, from giving medicine to nail trimming and bell training. My job as a caregiver instilled solid principles that I'll put to work for your pets, so you can rest easy knowing that they'll be treated like family. I would say my approach to pet care is best described as intuitive and detail-oriented. I want to learn all I can about your pet before I begin caring for them to ensure their safety and comfort. In fact, safety is my first concern. From picking the best route for walks, to making sure hazards are mitigated in the home, everything is done to keep your pet safe and happy.

For my own pets I'm careful to introduce new people and animals in a way that mitigates stress. We follow a pretty simple schedule and everyone is happy. When there is an issue between my pets, I am quick to impose myself between them and deescalate their disagreement, separating them as needed. Exercise is an important part of the day for Rufus, so fetch is a regular occurrence. Scritches and cuddles are of course an all day, anytime occurrence.

JJ started with an interview to get to know the house, my dog, and the instructions I printed out. WanderR took an immediate liking to her. JJ wrote on each timeslot she came over as well as attached many pictures. She did a great job with the walks, feeding, water, etc. and left positive and uplifting notes, since she knew I was missing my baby immensely - 9 month old pup that I have never been away from! I will contact JJ for my next sitter needs!!
I highly recommend JJ! She always arrives right on schedule and does a wonderful job caring for my cats, making sure they are happy, healthy, and well cared for. I especially appreciate that she is experienced and comfortable giving diabetic injections. I feel confident knowing my cats are in such capable and caring hands. I would definitely hire her again!

Jessalyn is awesome! She did more than I asked and my house looked great and my animals happy when we got back.
JJ was an amazing pet sitter and took excellent care of our six cats. She made sure they were happy, well fed, the litter boxes were kept clean and Hank received his daily insulin injection. JJ kept us updated every day on how they were doing and sent wonderful pictures, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We could tell our cats were comfortable and well cared for. We would definitely recommend JJ and will absolutely request her again in the future.

Schedule
I work 7:30-4:30, so visits in the middle of the weeldays are a no go. I can take visits before and after that window until about 9pm. I have the weekends and many holidays off, though, so there's flexibility. Like anyone, I have things that come up unexpectedly. For everything that can be predicted, I keep my calendar updated.
