I am an energetic, driven, 29 year old female with a full UK drivers licence, access to a car at all times and years of previous experience taking care of animals, including my own and friends’ and families’. Although I don’t have any formal training or qualifications in animal care, I have a lifetime of experience caring for the animals that have been in my life as well as professionally caring for animals for the past 4 years, and you can see by my reviews, I always provide an outstanding service, both pets and owners are always very happy after booking with me. Not to mention, you will have a hard time finding someone who is more passionate about animals’ happiness and welfare or someone who loves animals more! The services I offer include: - Boarding in my house* - and if they're with me for an extended amount of time I am happy to clean them (so long as they are comfortable being washed and do not get aggressive - I am not a professional groomer, only basic washing and drying). Please note - dogs who are staying with me for less than 1 week, who aren't getting picked up/dropped off until AFTER 4pm on the final day will be charged a doggy day care rate for that day. - House sitting in pet owners' homes - only available for to existing customers who have already booked with me, who I trust and who's pets I have already gotten to know and bonded with. - Drop in visits - to see your pet if you have to be out all day, whilst there I can feed, play with and snuggle up with for a little while so they don't get lonely; . I am also happy to clean pets - so long as they are comfortable being washed and do not get aggressive (I am not a professional groomer, only basic washing and drying). - Doggy day care* - in my house where pups will be kept company all day long, lots of snuggles, playing in the garden, and sometimes even taking mini trips to local dog friendly places like parks/woods/the beach/etc. - Dog walking - around your local areas so your pup is in their familiar surroundings and sniffing their familiar smells. *With boarding in my house and doggy day care, I only take on 1 dog at a time to ensure they are getting 1 on 1 personal care (however I would consider taking 2 from the same household and get on with each other well). Animals I have owned and looked after include a cat for 5 years, fresh water fish for 5 years, and 2 dogs one of which I had for 10 years before he very sadly passed on and the other is our current household pet who we have had for over two years. Both my previous and current dogs were/are Yorkshire Terriers but I do have experience looking after a Husky, a German Shepherd, a Chihuahua, a West Highland Terrier, a Springer Spaniel and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. It is worth mentioning that some of the previously mentioned dogs did have difficult personality traits such as being unfriendly or aggressive towards other dogs, being very boisterous and energetic and other dogs that have been nervous, skittish and unsociable.
