Hey, Guys! My name is Jess, and have been working with dogs in a professional environment (daycare, on-leash group walks, off-leash park) for the past 8.5 years. I was raised on a farm full of animals and have loved being surrounded by them ever since. I myself have 2 cats, and this is why I will not be able to help out any cat owners out there, but very comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I would prefer to have a meet and greet for any dogs coming into my home. I do live in a large apartment,it does say I can host a single dog, but if they are from the same family/get along well (with a complimentary trial), I will be open to caring for them. I am a 5 minute walk from our beautiful and very large off leash dog park, with an enclosed area, and additional area for our friends that need a bit more attention. I have taken pet first aid, and a course in reactivity, but always learning. That being said, I have taken care of puppies, seniors, special needs, and everything in between. In my last position I administered shots, flee meds, and other medications. I would love to meet you and your furry friend, and available through email or text any time. Jess has been walking our dog for almost 2 years now. She shows up when she says she will and always seems very happy to walk her. My work schedule changes regularly and Jess is always available when we need her. She sends pictures/ updates about her walks which I appreciate.
Before covid hit, Jess had been walking my dog ever since I brought him home at 12 weeks old. She started with puppy visits, where she even trained him on some basic commands, and eventually he graduated to full walks with big dogs. Jess’s love for animals is clear and she always took care of him like he was her own, even dropping off home-made jerky treats for him on occasion. I’d recommend Jess without hesitation for walks and visits with your pups!
Jess was my employee at Barkingham Palace for over three years. Jess was a joy to work with everyday! Fun, friendly and courteous with the clients and a true lover of the dogs in her care. Jess was our full time daycare attendant and dog walker. She was in charge of multiple dogs, 5 days a week. Jess was loving and kind with all of her charges but also had a keen interest in dog behaviour and psychology. She learned all about positive reinforcement and used it in all areas of her job. I highly recommend Jess as your pet care professional, you will not be disappointed! (Only reason she had to leave us was our building was sold and our new location doesn’t require extra staff😢)
Jess provided walks for our frenchie Winston. She came over first to meet with him and to make sure it was a good fit. While we were at work we could trust Jess to be on time and keep our dog safe! Would highly recommend her services.

I am in transition as I just moved back home from Toronto, to Picton. I have full availability, and very capable of meeting your needs to provide the best care.

I live with cats, and only take a client at a time, unless further analysis has been done to see compatability. This is for the safety of your pets, and to be leaning on a cautious side.

A typical day
My day will be surrounding your furry friends, and will be set accordingly to that. I am very physically active, and enjoy the outdoors. We can take a walk, we can go to the park, or just have quiet times at home. Because of my background, I would consider myself intuitive of their needs.
