Whether a cat or dog is shy, social, or a little spicy, I follow their cues and let them set the pace. With many years of experience, including caring for my own three cats (Daxter, Catarina, and Beretina), I’m very attentive to both physical and emotional needs and quick to notice changes in behavior or stress. Your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s. If you’re away, I provide consistent updates and photos as often as you’d like so you always know how they’re doing. I welcome specific instructions or preferences because every pet has their own routine and every owner has their own comfort level. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe and content, and you feel confident that they’re in good hands.

A typical day
A typical day depends entirely on what your pet enjoys. If they like being active, we can play with their favorite toys, go for walks, or visit a dog park with your approval. If they prefer a calmer routine, I’m just as happy to spend time relaxing, offering gentle company, or curling up with a blanket for some comfort and affection. I follow your pet’s personality and routine so their day feels familiar and enjoyable. Just let me know what they love and I’ll make sure their time with me reflects that.

Pet care experience
Animals have been part of my life from the very beginning. My family raised and cared for pets of all kinds, including Maine Coon show cats, a golden retriever, and a yorkie. I grew up surrounded by them, learning early how to read behavior, provide steady care, and build trust with different personalities and species. The only time I ever lived without an animal in my home was during my first two years of service in the Air Force. Since then, I have continued to share my life with dogs, cats, and the occasional more unusual companion such as a bird, a ferret, and a snake. Every one of them has been loved and treated as family. These days I share my home with Daxter (my orange tabby) and Catarina and Beretina (two crazy torbie sisters) who keep life entertaining in all the best ways. I am a veteran currently in school and I work part time as a martial arts instructor. Outside of that, I enjoy drawing, playing guitar, and video games. Among my friends I have become the go to pet auntie because I care for their animals as if they were my own. My goal is to bring that same level of attentiveness and genuine care to every pet I look after. Whether they are shy, energetic, quirky, or easygoing, I meet each animal with patience, respect, and a calm presence so they feel safe while you are away.

Not happy at all!! Two stars because she was negligent but not abusive. Jess did house sitting for us in July when we were traveling out of country for 10 days. She was going to house sit for 7 nights and drop in for 2 days. Our cat’s feeding schedule and setting was explained twice - she visited after we made the booking and once more before we left. She was happy with arrangement. After a 4 days our friends dropped in to say hello to our cat because she was alone all day.We have pet camera. Jesse came to feed her lunch but it was quick in and out. They found that her room was smelly and dirty and her food bowl had rotting food. Our cat is on wet food - the bawl was not cleaned and new food was dumped over old remaining food. Jesse was also at home to feed her lunch, so she also met my friend. Within an hour of that visit Jesse changed her reservation and quit on us. She did not even bother to set up her next meal on autofeeder. We were on different continent in different time zone. I had to ask my friend to feed her next meal and then find another sitter for next day. My cat was lonely. When I asked Jesse how she was eating and she would say that she is finishing everything I give her - not believable based on rotten food bowl I saw in pictures. The reason we had a house sitter was because we had never left our cat alone. By July she was with us for 7 months. Rover took our complaint but I have not heard back from them. She also overcharged us by 4 hours - for the hours after she left the house. Do your due diligence and don’t just trust the words!

Jess was amazing with out girls! She gave daily updates, sent photos and videos, and kept our home super clean
Jess to the rescue! A last minute out of state emergency had me scrambling for a sitter. Jess made time to visit with Arya before the weekend of house/dog sitting. She sent me pictures and provided updates the entire time I was gone and left the apartment as clean as I left it. Jess takes really great pet photos so I tipped her a little extra since I will definitely print and frame them!
