Boarding, hikes, adventures!
I have over 18 years of pet care experience, including administering all sorts of medications. I’m currently available for: drop in visits to care for your pets, walks/hikes, & boarding at my home (daycare or overnights - *WEEKENDS ONLY*. I recently accepted a new position and I am now out of the house Monday-Friday from 7-530. I often take my guests on hikes, to local parks/trails, and even swimming. I limit available space to ensure dogs booked with me always get the attention and care they deserve. I dedicate myself to them and my own dogs. I’m reliable and flexible with needs, just shoot me a message. I am very responsible and knowledgeable about pet care. I truly go above and beyond & your dogs always have so much fun here and feel loved! We have a big fenced in yard. Trails and lake access nearby. I live in a private lake community in Hardy, near Westlake @ Smith Mountain Lake. However, I may be able to assist you in Roanoke as well for drop ins or walks. I look forward to meeting you and all of your fur babies!

Jess is the first person we’ve boarded our dogs with that wasn’t a family member. One of our dogs is very anxious with strangers and doesn’t enjoy playing with other dogs so we were worried but hopeful. Our pups were accommodated, doted on and loved while with Jess! Multiple updates were sent every day and we could tell our dogs were safe and happy. It seemed like they cared for our dogs like they were their own pets! Would definitely book again :)
Jess was great with Boone. She kept me updated and sent lots of pictures. He had a great time playing with her dog! We will definitely use her again!

I can’t say enough about how Jess cared for my Abby. We were in a bind & traveled to Virginia to visit family when we found this amazing woman. Abby fit right in with the other dogs - which at times can be tough for her as she has a little anxiety. Jess sent pics and kept us well informed about Abby’s activities and how she was doing. There should be a Jess in every city caring for our 4-legged babies.

I will care for your pet according to whatever specifications you ask for, in addition to making them feel at home and loved like my own. We can relax, play, go for adventures, even go for a swim or just take naps on the couch all day. If your pets have any special needs or requests just let me know!

A typical day
My private neighborhood is perfect for walks, with quiet roads and trails down to and around the lake. I have a big fenced in yard, and a wide open house to play in when it’s too yucky outside. We also take trips to parks nearby for extra adventures. The house is big and comfy enough that everyone can have space and downtime when needed.
